We run a small business, so we didn’t have a huge number of broken links to deal with, but 404Shield made it really easy to find and fix the ones we did have. The scan was quick and straightforward, and we could immediately see which pages needed attention. Setting up redirects was simple, and being able to see which broken pages were still getting traffic was especially useful for deciding what to fix first. It’s a simple, practical app that saved us time and made something we’d been putting off much easier to handle.
404Shield is very easy to use and provides a clear overview of all broken, potentially broken, ignored, and redirected 404 links.
The interface is intuitive, and makes it simple to create, edit, or disable redirects whenever needed. It also offers valuable insights into the performance of broken links (clicks and impressions).
The app is most valuable for websites that have accumulated a significant number of 404 errors over time but it is also a good tool for ongoing website maintenance, allowing you to regularly monitor and address broken links before they affect user experience or search performance.
