The BLEND app has given us a new translation process that makes multiple languages manageable. The team is super helpful in setting up new functionalities and working on the Shopify app to create a more efficient workaround. The translations are sometimes not perfect, but then it's easy to exclude certain translators from your project to ensure quality.
This app is totally useless and not ready for prime time or shopify stores that need in depth translations. Don't be fooled, the quote and what they say will be translated (when using their app) is not all the content from the page. What a frustrating waste of time and money not to mention the app was super glitchy and wanted too bill us $20,000 instead of $1300...Seemed like a good idea. We thought an AI translation with a human proof was a good idea but they don't have their shopify app working correctly yet.
Hello FOLIGAIN EUROPE,
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re truly sorry to hear about your experience with our app and regret that it didn’t meet your expectations.
We understand your concerns regarding the translation coverage and the billing issue. Allow us to provide some clarity. Our app is designed to mimic the way Shopify organizes content into various sections (like product descriptions, collection pages, and additional dynamic elements). While this allows for precise translations, it can sometimes create confusion when content isn’t all sourced from a single page. This setup may have affected the initial translation quote you received. We recognize that this wasn’t made clear and apologize for any frustration caused.
Your feedback is helpful, and we truly appreciate you bringing this to our attention.
If you’d be open to revisiting our app, we’d be happy to walk you through how it works and assist you in achieving the results you expected.
Please do not hesitate to contact us at support@team.getblend.com if you have any questions.
Thank you,
BLEND Localization
