Blockify Fraud Filter, Blocker

Blockify is an incredibly helpful app that works perfectly when it comes to blocking bots. Their customer support is outstanding! The team is always responsive, takes the time to explain everything in detail, and goes above and beyond to help whenever needed. Highly recommend this app for anyone looking for a reliable bot-blocking solution!

We were having so many issues with fraudulent purchases. After trying to go through our Gateway filter permissions and still getting nowhere, we installed Blockify. I chatted with customer service to help us set up our Blockify protections. The customer service rep, Vivian, was super helpful and patient. She combed through all the available settings and finalized our set up. I am hoping that we will not have to deal with these fraudulent purchases again!

I had an influx of fraud orders prior to using this app. One had slipped through (most had gotten stuck in abandoned checkout that I hadn't noticed). These were clearly some type of bot attack "orders" because the product that had been purchased had no "add to cart" button on the page. (I previously was offering a subscription service. Decided not to do this through Shopify because there were issues for the customers and instead the subscription is solely through Patreon. With that said - this customer managed to pay for a subscription that no longer existed. Which is what alerted me that it was in fact a fraud order and not an actual customer order.

The app was easy to implement and I've reached out to customer service to turn on their "Stop bots from creating fake checkouts
Success." This seems to have helped immensely. I was still getting some fake checkouts but they weren't going through the system and physically charging me anything. They were stuck in abandoned cart. After about a month, the issue seems to have vanished. For the $20/month it's well worth the investment if you have a Shopify store.

They are also quick to answer and offer support/help with their chat feature. Both times I've reached out, I've gotten a response immediately.

Highly recommend. I've tried other fraud filters but this one seems to be the absolute best.

A great experience with the app. Been using it to redirect traffic and had Tina help me set up a feature to stop bots from creating fake checkouts.

Very responsive and helpful team. Samuel was incredibly helpful—he did a live check with me and explained everything clearly step-by-step. The only downside is that visitors from restricted locations still trigger Shopify's visitor tracking. It makes you feel like the block isn't active, though I realize this is due to how Shopify handles traffic data rather than a bug in the app.

Brilliant support from Niel. I had serious issues with card checkers and Shopify's "Fraud prevention" is non existent, so with the free set up, we're hoping all that will go away from now on. I had a number of detailed/technical questions for these guys, but Niel answered them all quickly and diligently. I can highly recommend them if your Shopify site is being blighted by card checkers (go to your abandoned carts page to find out), then give these guys a go.

Solved my issue with bots from Asia muddying up traffic to the site. Easy implementation, great support, highly recommend!

Vincent from the Omega support team was very courteous and helpful. He tested our store to confirm that the blocking feature was working and clearly explained why blocked visits can still appear in Shopify Analytics. I really appreciated his patient and easy-to-understand explanations. As a Japanese-speaking user, I would also appreciate Japanese translations of the app’s interface and guidance. This app is very important to me and I use it everyday.
I've been using Blockify on my Shopify store and have been very happy with it. It gives me much more control over the traffic coming to my site and makes it easy to see and manage visitors that I don't want accessing my store. I recently had a question about an IP address I was trying to block, and Enola was extremely helpful in walking me through what I was seeing and helping me understand how the app was working. The support was quick, clear and actually useful.
There are a lot of Shopify apps that promise security features, but Blockify is one that I feel is genuinely worthwhile. It gives me an additional layer of control and peace of mind without making the app difficult to use.

Installed Blockify app after having a nightmare with bots. Tracy in the help centre guided me through everything with ease and immediately solved all the problems I was having. The bots are now blocked. What a huge relief. I can now get back to business as usual. A weight has been lifted from my mind. so far all running smoothly.
