Blockify Fraud Filter, Blocker

This app has been great overall—it saved me money when I made the switch, and its features are exactly what I needed. When I first contacted support, Ben was super helpful and responsive. I even left a positive review to reflect that.

However, when I returned for further help, the experience was disappointing. Despite my earlier feedback, I was kept waiting for ages while being asked to make changes I couldn’t implement myself. The excuse given was that Ben was dealing with other customers, but it felt like I’d been deprioritised after already leaving a good review. Eventually, he did sort it out, but only after a frustrating amount of back-and-forth.

All in all, the app itself is excellent—but the support experience left a bit to be desired the second time around.

I installed Blockify after noticing a significant increase in traffic from suspect locations. As someone who's had a few bad experiences with new apps, I was nervous, but Blockify turned out to be straightforward and easy to set up. It took no time at all, and there were no nasty side effects to my store!

What I love most is the ability to block specific locations and IP addresses (on the paid plan). These features have been crucial for managing unwanted traffic. Plus, being able to view detailed visitor analytics helps me keep a close eye on everything. I also really like the content protection, which makes it harder for scammers to scrape your images and copy!

I'm also impressed with Blockify's customer service. When I needed help, their chatbot quickly connected me with a real person. Cam from their support team was fantastic. He took the time to understand my concerns, explained everything clearly (without any tech jargon!), and gave me peace of mind about how I had things set up. As a small business owner juggling many responsibilities, having expert support just a message away is invaluable.

Overall, I’m impressed so far with Blockify - the extra support to manage my website’s traffic and security is great, and knowing there’s great customer service available if I do run into any issues is reassuring!

We are based out of India and were suddenly receiving high unusual traffic from Falkenstein, Germany. I came across a review of someone facing the exact same issue too. Cam, from Blockify support resolved the issue within a few minutes of installing the app by helping me helped me create a rule which immediately resolved the issue. This is a great app that has really helped me block bots from my store that were hugely skewing my data. I wasn't always entirely sure how to work things myself, but their customer support is excellent and they always respond really quickly and are super helpful. Have recommended to other business owner too.

We're under a DDoS attack which thankfully hasn't affected our store but did cause us to incur a $11,000 bill with our SMS provider as the bots were inputting spam phone numbers triggering the sign-up message that we were being charged for.

I was advised by Shopify to install this app to prevent VPN traffic from accessing our site, as it seemed it was all UK traffic (we're UK-based). The team at Blockify informed me the attackers were using a VPN & helped me set everything up to prevent the attack.

Not only does this app excel at what it says it will do, but the team worked tirelessly with us when intruders found a way to get around our IP blocks.

They had their developer work to create an automatic order cancellation process for fake orders that made it through our defenses. Great app. Outstanding support. I highly recommend it.
