You can only create blogs from scratch using their templates or custom templates on using their platform. But if you already have a shopify blog setup with your own template, and metaobjects/metafields, there isn't a feature available to integrate that because Bloggle doesn't fetch from the store content. Also, the styling is ruined because the platform automatically layers their styling on top of yours. And even if you try to fix with Custom CSS classes, its quite frustrating.
But yeah, if you are just getting with you Blogs, Bloggle is great! :)
Thanks a lot for your feedback! 😊 We're glad to hear Bloggle has been helpful if you're just getting started with blogging! I deeply apologize that the app was not a perfect fit for your needs.
To clarify a few points:
- Importing Existing Articles: It’s possible to import your existing Shopify blog posts into Bloggle. However, some manual reformatting is usually needed to take full advantage of our editor. The good news is: you don’t need to import all your old content to use the app, you can keep your current posts as-is and start fresh only where it makes sense.
Custom Templates & Metafields: If your blog setup relies heavily on metafields, metaobjects, or custom dev work, that’s something Bloggle can’t integrate with automatically. Our app is designed to serve as a replacer of a custom built-in blog, not to adapt to that while I agree in your case it can be frustrating.
Styling Conflicts: Bloggle doesn’t overwrite your store’s CSS globally. That said, depending on your theme or custom styles, some CSS conflicts can occur on the blogs created with Bloggle. If you experience that, feel free to reach out and our support team is always happy to adjust things on our end to ensure smooth display.
Thanks again for your honest review, it helps us keep improving! 🚀
Utterly BRILLIANT. YEARS AND YEARS of searching. Ive been through them all - and if SEO - or content is important to you beyond endless catalog listings - THIS IS THE ONE and it will pay for itself immediately if you have a decent business or an audience interested. This is seriously good - BRILLIANT support - and I look forward to making more use of it now that they have resolved the issues of my own making :)
Thank you so much for this incredible review! 🙏

I've been using Bloggle for my Shopify store and am extremely pleased with the results. The app seamlessly integrates blog functionality, making content creation simple and efficient.
The intuitive drag-and-drop editor is a standout feature, allowing me to create professional-looking posts without any coding knowledge. The app's robust SEO tools have also been invaluable in helping to increase my website's traffic.
I highly recommend Bloggle for anyone wanting a reliable and user-friendly solution for managing their blog on Shopify.

If I were reviewing just the tech support I would say they are definitely 5-star and help to address any issues. There are a lot of great features as well. However, Bloggle is not as intuitive as other Shopify apps and there is a lot of back and forth between settings for text/buttons/etc that I have to go to in order to format a blog the way that I am trying to instead of just being able to edit it right there in the blog. It takes a while to really learn the platform compared to most apps. Then there is also the additional issue that blogs don't always translate to Shopify fantastically so I'm working on a template that will and have to test it, etc. The tech team is really great at responding and helping though.
Thank you for your thoughtful and detailed review! 😊
We're so glad to hear that our tech support has been 5-star and helpful in resolving issues.
We appreciate your feedback on the platform's usability and the blog translation to Shopify. We are actively working on two features that will help you in the future:
- A translation addon
- A way to save default settings for the sections, to make the blog creation easier and quicker
Rest assured, we're continuously working on enhancing Bloggle, and we're always here to assist you along the way!

We needed some custom CSS that they helped us with within minutes.

I've been using Bloggle for publishing long-form, SEO-optimized blogs — and honestly, it's one of the best apps I've added to my Shopify store. The interface is clean, mobile-responsive, and great for ranking articles in Google.
What impressed me most was their support team.
I reported a strange formatting bug where some blog text randomly shrunk in certain sections. Within hours, the Bloggle support team responded, looked into the issue, and came back with a working fix. No back-and-forth, no delay — just real solutions, fast.
They’re not just responsive — they actually care about fixing things and improving the product. If you're building serious content for organic traffic or even monetizing with AdSense like I do, this app is solid and reliable.
Big respect to the Bloggle devs
