Completely messed up all my images. When exporting my files some files were the new naming convention and some the original. Also lost several images in the process. Emailed an urgent response asking for help but no response and spent 3 hours with shopify support trying to rectify it. Still lots of products with no images. Would avoid
We have many images of different sizes and resolutions which needed to be harmonized while squared and this APP was perfect for it. In addition, the tech support has been exceptional in helping fix certain background image issues we had with our PNG images. Truly a Must-Have APP as well as a Great Team.... I uninstalled this app, yet am still getting charged $99.99 per month. Please refund us and stop charging us. I have contacted shopify directly to attempt to get our money back - it even confirms in the billing that it was uninstalled Hextom: Bulk Image Edit & SEO (Uninstalled) $99.99 Bulk Image Edit Enterprise: 2023-05-20 - 2023-06-19
Hi,
I hope this message finds you well. I wanted to take a moment to address a matter regarding the billing process following the uninstallation of our app, and also share some positive news.
Firstly, I'd like to clarify that the last charge you observed on your bill occurs subsequent to the uninstallation of the app. You may have noticed that the app is labeled as "uninstalled," which serves as an indicator that your subscription has been canceled. It's important to note that this does not imply any ongoing charges after uninstallation. Rather, it signifies the final bill in the billing cycle. This practice is consistent across all apps that operate on a monthly fee structure, ensuring fairness and transparency for our valued users.
Now, I am delighted to inform you that we have taken proactive steps to enhance your experience. Although it may not have been explicitly mentioned earlier, we have gone ahead and issued a refund for the charge incurred between the dates of 2023-05-20 and 2023-06-19. We sincerely appreciate your continued support and wanted to demonstrate our commitment to your satisfaction.
Should you have any further questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to reach out to our dedicated support team. We are here to assist you in any way we can.
Thank you for your understanding, and we look forward to providing you with an exceptional app experience.
Warm regards,
Sophie
It took me forever to find a solid "file renaming" program. Most only apply alt tags and label that as a file renaming feature. This app allows me to edit file names, and many other aspects of images. I do them single or bulk, it's the best product I found on the market. I asked questions and was surprised that they came through. I'm a fan.
This app is EVERYTHING. We had hundreds of images in inconsistent sizes (all landscape orientation), and with this app we were able to bulk crop all of them to square. It took about a minute to set up the settings / rules for cropping, and then took about 5 minutes for the app to run, and it automatically cropped all of them. This app is a heaven send!
I use this app to daily do SEO optimization, image optimization and alt text on all my store images. I am a beginner at running a website and this app makes it so even a beginner can do it easily, step by step. I don't normally review because I have little time to but I thought it would be helpful for anyone who is interested. I give them the 5 Stars all the way!!
Ive done a few tests of png to jpg that went well. I then used minimize to shrink the file size another 30%. So that used two credits per image or around 2 cents on the basic plan. Pretty good compared to the prices Ive seen for other image optimization apps, and I did not see another one that does the very important job of converting png to jpg. Overall I am very impressed.
We have been on the basic plan for around a year and used the app for image renaming and alt text editing.
The scheduled tasks functionality is especially nice as you don't have to worry about running tasks manually. However, it's good to check the task execution status every once in a while because our tasks had stopped without a reason and we didn't get any notification about that.

We have paid plan and used the app to optimize photos and opted to use the Daily Updater. Who knew the Daily update of the same image counted twice to monthly limits. Right after we did optimization, we hoped to see improvement in Google Ad performance, but website hits went down....Time will tell, but first pass does not look positive. Shopify already adds text to images so not sure there is that much more value.
I have used the Internet since it was called ARPANet when it was funded and developed by the U.S. Department of Defense. And that means I have used many different apps since 1978. What I like about Bulk Image Edit is if I do not understand exactly what an option does, their staff jump in and give me step-by-step directions that actually do what is intended. So that means I highly recommend this app. Try it. You'll like it.
