CartGate: Checkout Rules

Great app and very helpful for managing promotional campaigns that require checkout page restrictions. It has made campaign management much easier for our business.

Excellent app that solves a real problem!

CartGate has been an excellent addition to our Shopify store. We sell live honey bees alongside beekeeping equipment, and managing the two separately is essential for us. Live bees are seasonal and can only be shipped via Royal Mail, so preventing incompatible products from being ordered together is particularly important. We also need to keep these orders separate for accounting purposes, as deposits are taken in one tax year and the bees supplied in the next.

Despite having clear, prominent warnings on our website, customers were still regularly placing incompatible orders, leaving us having to cancel parts of orders, contact customers to explain the problem, or arrange additional postage. Shopify's native checkout simply doesn't prevent these issues.

Since installing CartGate, these headaches have stopped altogether! We're using the free version, which has already made a huge difference to our day-to-day operations.

Honestly, this feels like something that should be a basic feature of Shopify itself. A massive thank you to Kory for developing a solution, especially having experienced a similar frustration himself. It's a simple, effective app that solves a genuine problem, and we'd thoroughly recommend it to other Shopify merchants!

It's pretty silly Shopify doesn't have features to do this sort of thing, but Cartgate came to the rescue and made my cart rules a cinch! When something wasn't quite doing what I needed, he even offered to change it on the back end so it would be exactly what I needed! So thankful I found cartgate!
