Let customers configure products from real components, with inventory tracked automatically.

Component Builder lets customers configure a product from real parts on your product page. Choices link to real Shopify products with their own stock, so inventory is tracked by the part. Options disable themselves when a part runs out. A choice can hold several products, like a kit. Price parts at their own price, add an extra charge, or sell them below their own price inside the bundle with the regular price struck through. The cart shows one clean line and checkout decrements every part.

When we started looking for a bundling app that went beyond the limits of Shopify’s native abilities, there were a few to choose from. We settled on Component Builder for a variety of reasons including the numerous options to ‘bundle within a bundle’, separate pricing for all or some of the components in a ‘master bundle/product’. The most vital aspect of the app turned out to be the support, knowledge and sales understanding of the developer who turned our initial bundle into an incredibly easy to use and intuitive ‘kit builder’ for our customers.

Multiple options for configuring independent ‘assemblies’ and a variety of presentation options make this an extremely customizable app even at the ‘Starter’ subscription level. Any inquiries or tweaks we had were ready to test an implement by the next day and the developer had an incredible understanding of what we were trying to do and had excellent suggestions for options and configurations that would better serve us.

You’re not just getting the app with Component Builder but rather an app with incredible support behind it, folks who understand not just the software itself but the purpose behind it.
