I am very happy with the support I have received from CJdropshipping, especially from my personal agent, Enid Dong.
Enid is incredibly kind, professional, patient, and always willing to help. She has supported me with my Shopify store, shipping methods, tracking numbers, and order management.
She takes the time to explain everything clearly and always tries to find the best solutions for my business.
As a growing e-commerce business owner, having someone as dedicated and supportive as Enid means a lot to me.
Thank you so much, Enid Dong, for your outstanding support, kindness, and dedication. I truly appreciate everything you do!
Highly recommended!
1-Star Review — Extremely Disappointed with CJ Dropshipping
As a small business owner just getting started, I really wanted CJ Dropshipping to be a reliable partner, but unfortunately, my experience has been extremely disappointing.
Shipping times are far too slow. If the current shipping time is considered an improvement from what it used to be, that is honestly concerning. Slow shipping can seriously hurt a small business, especially when customers expect reasonable delivery times.
The U.S. warehouse option for clothing is also misleading. Products may show an option to ship from a U.S. warehouse when you're listing them, but the U.S. warehouse does not necessarily carry the same product. This makes the option feel almost useless when you're trying to provide customers with faster shipping.
Even ordering samples has been unnecessarily slow. As a new business owner, I need to be able to test products, inspect quality, create content, and make informed decisions without waiting an unreasonable amount of time.
The biggest issue is that a dropshipping supplier is supposed to help a small business grow—not create additional obstacles that can damage the customer experience and the business's reputation. Long shipping times, limited U.S. inventory, and slow sample delivery can be especially damaging to a business that is just starting out.
Because of this experience, I will be looking for another dropshipping service. I cannot build my business around a supplier that cannot consistently support the shipping and product needs of my customers.
I would strongly encourage other small business owners to do their research and carefully test CJ Dropshipping before committing to them. What may seem like a convenient option initially can become a serious problem once you're trying to actually run and grow your business.
Small businesses cannot afford to have their reputation damaged by unreliable fulfillment.
Rain HUANG, a CATASTROPHIC cjdropshipping agent who completely ruined my experience.
She’s incredibly cold and cruel, for a simple answer to a question, she’s capable of making me wait a full week while treating me like crap. For a week, I’ve been asking for nothing more than a product return rate, but she refuses to answer me and tells me to do her job for her, even though I have no information about the total weight, possible shipping methods, or the options available to me!!
When you agree on a rate with her and confirm it, she comes back with rate increases of up to 30% without any mercy, and when you explain that this isn’t normal, she talks down to you and pressures you to accept the offer.
She openly talks about wanting to get rid of her tasks as quickly as possible and stop dealing with me, even though I’ve only reached out to her twice in a year!!
The only way to get her to do her job is to tell her you’re going to leave a bad review and expose this. It’s outrageous.
If I could give less than one star, I would.
Rain HUANG is the worst agent on the cjdropshipping platform, there’s a high chance you’ll be assigned her as your agent. When you ask her to switch agents, she drags her feet and doesn't go through with the change either !
A horrible experience, I’ve never seen anything like it.
Remember this name: Rain HUANG
Five-Star Experience with CJ Dropshipping and Agent Emilly!
I’ve been working with CJ Dropshipping to build my brand, and the support from my agent, Emilly, has been outstanding. She went above and beyond to verify my custom packaging settings, ensured my test order was manually inspected at the warehouse, and resolved every query quickly and efficiently.
The fulfillment speed and dedicated service make CJ the best partner for scaling an e-commerce business. Huge thanks to Emilly and the entire CJ team for their dedication and professionalism!
I’ve had a great experience with CJ so far. The platform interface is extremely straightforward, well organized, and easy to use.
A special thanks to Cisco Fu, my personal agent, who has been actively helping me with everything since day one and has always been responsive and supportive. I’ve also had an excellent experience with Elara Liu from customer service, who has been very helpful and attentive whenever I’ve needed assistance.
Great platform and great support team. Highly recommended!
Soya and CJ have been amazing for me as I've moved into pre-purchasing inventory. All the questions and additional specs I asked for from potential suppliers they were able to get for me as well as great pricing and MOQs too.
This has made product sourcing and order fulfillment much easier for my store. I really like how simple it is to find products, import them, and keep orders synced without having to manage everything manually. The sourcing options are extensive, and the fulfillment process saves a lot of time. Overall, a very practical solution for running a dropshipping store efficiently.
My Experience With CJdropshipping
I want to share my experience with CJdropshipping because I believe companies need to hear what their customers are experiencing while it is actually happening—not months later after the customer has already moved on.
My experience with CJ has been much more complicated than I expected when I started dropshipping.
One of my biggest frustrations has been obtaining basic supplier and fulfillment information that I need to operate properly with the sales channels I am integrated with. There have been multiple situations where information or documentation I needed was either unavailable or could not be provided.
I have also had difficulty getting answers to questions that require information directly from the supplier. CJ will sometimes tell me that they need to contact the supplier for the information, but then there can be difficulty getting a response from the supplier. As the customer, that leaves me waiting for information that I need to run my business.
**Shipping and tracking have also been a major concern.** I have experienced shipping delays, and the tracking updates do not always feel truly real-time. At times, I have had to wait until the following day to see updates regarding what happened the previous day. When you are running an online business and customers are waiting for their orders, timely tracking information is extremely important.
Another area that needs improvement is the **quality and completeness of product listings.** Some products have very limited descriptions, little to no useful product information, or very few photos. In some cases, the product details simply aren't detailed enough to confidently use the listing on my own storefront without doing significant additional work.
The **product images can also be problematic.** Some images appear to have supplier or warehouse information edited out using basic image-editing tools, leaving visible artifacts around the product. For example, I have seen images where it is obvious that writing has been erased from the image, leaving behind a noticeable “erased” or edited appearance around the mannequin or hair. That makes the images look unprofessional and can require additional editing before they are suitable for a customer-facing store.
There is also the issue of **supplier and warehouse names appearing on product images or information.** If I am trying to build my own brand and storefront, I cannot reasonably use an image that prominently displays another supplier or warehouse name. Customers seeing another company's name on the product image can create confusion about whose brand they are actually purchasing from.
Overall, I feel like there is often too much work required on the seller's end to turn some of CJ's product listings into polished, customer-ready listings.
I understand that no supplier will be perfect, and I am not expecting everything to be flawless. However, when a supplier is being used alongside platforms with their own shipping, fulfillment, documentation, and compliance requirements, the supplier needs to be able to support those requirements as much as reasonably possible.
There are definitely things I like about CJ, which is why I am giving **3 stars rather than 1 star**. However, the combination of shipping issues, delayed tracking updates, difficulty obtaining supplier documentation, difficulty getting supplier responses, incomplete product information, and low-quality or supplier-branded product images has made the overall dropshipping experience more difficult than it needs to be.
I am sharing this feedback now because I believe CJ should know what its customers are experiencing **in real time**. I am still evaluating my options and would genuinely like to see improvements because CJ has products and services that could be useful for my business.
If these areas improve, I would absolutely be open to updating my review in the future. But based on my experience **right now**, 3 stars feels fair.
Excellent support experience. I had an account issue that was holding up
paid customer orders, and Vject Wang and Connie Jin resolved it within a
couple of hours instead of the couple of days I was told to expect. Connie
kept me updated the whole time she was working on it, and Vject followed
through quickly. Genuinely appreciated the speed and the communication when
it mattered most.
Special mention to Linda Feng in customer service.
I run a small store and hit a supply issue where several orders were
sitting unshipped. Linda didn't give me a scripted answer — she
explained how the fulfilment process actually works end to end, why
the delay was happening, and what the real timelines were. That one
explanation told me more than a week of guessing.
She was equally straight about private inventory: no MOQ, 90 days free
storage, and honest that stocking up takes the same 3-5 days rather
than pretending it was instant. She could easily have oversold it. She
didn't.
When she couldn't answer something herself, she raised it with the
right team instead of leaving it with me, and told me plainly how long
it would take.
Clear, honest, and follows through. Linda made a difficult situation
manageable.
Elara and the team have been great; anytime I have issues or problems it is solved. Also, the customers have not complained about product quality leading to not a lot of returns, so I do recommend this app.
