Discount Capped gives Shopify merchants precise control over percentage discounts by setting a maximum dollar cap on every order. Create five discount types: order discounts, tiered volume discounts, amount off specific products or collections, customer discounts limited to approved emails, and weekly recurring discounts that apply only on the weekdays you choose. Each works as a code or automatic discount, with minimum requirements, usage limits and Shopify's native combinations.

This app is fantastic! The core feature—capping discounts to protect profit margins—works exactly as promised, and the interface is very intuitive to set up.

I highly recommend this app especially to merchants in Asian countries. It perfectly handles currencies without decimals and completely solves the annoying fractional number issue, keeping the checkout page clean and professional for customers.

Amazing App and Support

Shopify can’t put a maximum amount on a percentage discount. This app does, and that’s the whole reason we installed it.

We run a bank card promotion every Tuesday: 30% off, capped at a fixed amount, with two codes. It has worked on every order since launch.

Two things were missing for us. All dates showed in EST and we’re in Santiago, Chile, and we had to turn the discounts on and off every week with automations. We wrote to support.

They answered in about an hour, and the next day there was a Settings tab to pick the timezone and a new Weekly Recurring Discount where you choose the weekdays. Now both codes are set to Tuesdays until the end of the year and we don’t touch them.

Setup takes a few minutes, very easy to use, very intuitive.

The support team listens and ships VERY fast. Just what we needed. Thanks!
