Variant Description OMG

This is by far the best app that allows you to customize different descriptions for each variant. I have tried the two others on the app store and this one is far superior. Great customer service as well! Highly recommend.

I needed to consolidate 10 products into 1 product with 10 variants to make it easier for my customers to easily view and add multiple items from one page to their basket. However different descriptions for each variant was beyond the scope of Shopify so tried out several apps to get around this. Having tested several solutions I found that the Variant Description OMG app was by far the best app for achieving this.

I then required some additional script to enable an additional function. Mircea was so helpful and came back within hours and sorted this function out for me.

I recently added the Variant Description OMG app to my Shopify store and I am extremely impressed with the results. This app is the perfect solution for those who want to show variant information on a single product page. We have up to 2000 products with up to 63 variants each which would have taken a long time to manually enter the fields we needed, or would have taken some serious coding. Mircea was extremely helpful and very quick to respond.

This app solved one of the biggest drawbacks with Shopify not natively supporting the use of variant metafields. The app does exactly what we need, and is easy to use. Best of all, the support is absolutely fantastic! We needed some minor customizations and they were able to do it quickly, and correctly! I would highly recommend giving the app a whirl.

It's good, but could be better. Doesn't seem to integrate well with Shopify CSV import, when you want to edit a selection of products (of which we have quite a few) also a back-up/undo/"revert to previous version" feature would be really useful. These adding extras would make it more value for money. Otherwise considering the lack of these type of apps, this is a good app.

Best app ever! Super easy set up and use. Love that you can highly customize appearance of text and even insert images and videos. This app also uses datafetch via metafields so it doesn't slow down your page speed. The customer service is also amazing! Mircea answers you and fixes your problems straight away. He is obviously a shopify expert and always happy to help!!
