We found a lot of limitations with Shopify's out of the box functionality for the product page we wanted so we have used Form Builder Pro to add lots more info to sign-up and product page. With this app, you are basically able to build any page, cross-domain. It also can work with Shopify Headless. In addition, it's easy to use and integrate and customer support responds always quickly.
