Ilya and his team were super patient and very helpful. There were a few things that this app wasn't typically built to do. But with careful communication and patience they were able to meet our needs. Here's what we needed (9 locks):
LOCK 1 - Site only visible to accepted signed in customers.
LOCK 2 - Home page: clickable image catalog that lead to its own assigned page. But the lock would be that the Home page is visible to all signed in.
LOCK 3 to 8 - Pages: each page was limited to one type of customer, meaning that they only saw their own company's page and no other.
LOCK 9 All pages: for oversight and for specific people to be access all pages.
They were able to create locks for 9 locks. 1 for oversight of all pages and 1 to lock out the general public and 7 for each individual company.
Couldn't have asked for more in such a responsive team. They know what they're doing.
Trust them and be very concise and clear what it is you need and have patience.
Thank you so much, Tom, for this thoughtful review and for walking through the details of what we built together! 🎉 It was a genuinely fun project, juggling those 9 different access levels (from the public-facing catalog page down to company-specific pages and full oversight access) took some creative problem-solving 🔐, and it was a pleasure working with you and your team to get every piece exactly right ✅.
We really appreciate your patience and clear communication throughout the process, it made all the difference in getting the locks configured precisely to your needs 🙌. Thanks also for the kind words and for trusting us with Escapology's site 💛.
Please don't hesitate to reach out if you need any adjustments down the line or want to add anything new in the future! 🚀
Great and patient customer support! Even though the initial setup was a bit tricky due to Shopify's collaborator permissions, the support team went above and beyond to help me verify everything. They double-checked my exact schedule for all routing locks and confirmed that the app is configured perfectly. Very responsive and helpful assistance. Thank you!
Hi,
Thank you so much for the 5-star review and for your kind words! 🌟 We really appreciate you taking the time to share this.
We are glad we could get past the Shopify collaborator permissions hurdle together. That step can be tricky, so we’re always happy to double-check and walk through it until everything’s verified. And awesome to hear the routing locks are now set to your exact schedule and the app is configured perfectly for your store.
If anything ever needs adjusting down the road, just reach out to us. We’re here and always ready to help.
Thanks again for trusting us! 🚀

Amazing technical support - I was experiencing a major issue with the app, and the team was very quick to respond and try and make the situation right for me. Locks products from your shop easily.
This is hands down one of the most disruptive and risky B2B/wholesale apps I’ve ever used.
After installing Easy Wholesale Lock for B2B, everything seemed fine — until we tried to uninstall it. The moment the app was removed, our website functionality was severely affected and key parts of the store stopped working properly. It created unnecessary downtime, confusion, and immediate business risk.
No app should leave behind code, locks, or theme disruptions that break a live website after uninstall. That’s a fundamental standard. An app should integrate cleanly — and exit cleanly. This one did not.
If you are running a live ecommerce store, be extremely cautious. Test on a duplicate theme first and be prepared for potential disruption if you ever remove it.
In our experience, this has been the worst-performing wholesale lock app we’ve dealt with. Definitely not something we can recommend to serious store owners.
Hi, we're very sorry about this! Is there anything we can help with? Please let us know.
Yes, once you uninstall the app then our app loses all access instantly, and is unable to remove itself.
Because of this, our system sent you an email when you installed the app that clearly outlines this, and includes a link to download your original store theme files, in case there are any issues.
When you uninstalled the app our system sent another email warning you that the lock(s) were still enabled, and that it recommended you temporarily reinstall the app and disable the lock(s) before finally uninstalling.
Again I am very sorry for these challenges. I agree its not ideal, and it'd be better if the app could undo its changes on uninstall, however it appears its just not possible given how Shopify's app ecosystem works currently.
Thanks for your patience,
Alex & the Easy Lockdown team
Works exactly as intended, with lots of options and flexibility. Well priced and support is excellent.
Thanks for the great review, I'm glad to know it's working well for you. 🙏

Easy to configure and use. Less expensive than other apps in this same space.
Works as advertised. If you're using SparkLayer for B2B sales, Easy Wholesale Lock for B2B does not work with SparkLayer (yet).
Thats fantastic to hear, thanks for the great review! 🙏

Hi, I'm very sorry our app didn't work for you and your store. With some stores' themes our app needs customizing to work properly. We had our team help and try to ensure it was working properly on your store but it seems like we weren't able to get it working to your satisfaction.
Please accept our sincere apologies.

Do not use. It's a scam. Tried to uninstall. Broke my site and the code is still in the background. It's all the way through my site. Support giving the same instructions. The code tapped into collections, products, everything. It's overwritten everything.
Hi, I'm so sorry you had a bad experience here. Yes our app modifies your theme in order to lock the content you requested. This can be removed easily before uninstalling, or our team is happy to help and do it for you.
I've reached out to you several times, and you've been in touch with our support team. We'd love to help in any way we can.
Thanks, Alex & the Easy Lockdown team
