The expectation was integrated prices at shipping with accurate duties and good shipping prices. Integration seems to be really good! BUT, the shipping prices are literally more expensive than I can find anywhere and the platform cannot figure out how to accurately represent our duties and taxes. For example, our product is USMCA compliant and has a beneficial HTS code, which has our US tariff rate at $0, but Easyship is trying to charge our US customers $72 extra. The additional paperwork and time to sort this out, makes using this platform a complete waste of time. If you are able to get competitive shipping prices and fix the duties, I'd give this 5 stars for sure!
I like the simplicity of easyship and it is very user friendly. The only thing i would like to see for improvement is two things.
1) Increase the speed of the software. There is alot of slow down even when cookies are cleared.
2) Ability to just have the insurance payback to be put on the credit card that is on file.
**Update** We are very impressed with easy ship's live virtual customer support. In about 20 minutes they were able to fix our issue and get us on the right track. We are glad to have our shipping working the way that we want it now.
This APP does NOT WORK. I am a small business and purchasing this app has caused me nothing but problems. Customer service is not helpful NOR will they refund you for their poor product. Do not purchase this app if you want one that will actually work. It has either overcharged or undercharged on every single shipment I have used it with.
We're sorry to hear about your experience. Our team have reached out to look into this issue.
Bas customer service.
I used to love this app, changed the game for my canadian business shipping mostly to the US. I spent thousands of dollars in shipping labels in the past year but unfortunalty they expereienced some issues with their UPS account. From what I understand the account was blocked. I had a similar issue in the past with Shippo (another thirdparty) and they solved the issue in 1h. I reached out almost everyday to easyship's customer service and they keed telling me that they will escalate this (to whom idk). I can't use my account anymore and they won't help me solve this.

I’ve been on Shopify since October, and shortly after I switched to Easyship. While there is a free plan available, the paid subscription is absolutely worth it for me - especially because of the level of support.
Whenever there’s an issue, the response time is very fast and the support team is genuinely helpful. The last person I spoke with was Sruthi, who assisted me with HS code issues and guided me step by step via chat until everything was resolved.
Overall, I highly recommend Easyship. It not only saves a significant amount of time by eliminating the need to deal directly with multiple shipping companies, but it has also reduced my shipping costs considerably. For my business, Easyship has been noticeably cheaper than purchasing labels directly from carriers.
Although friendly, the support team are not very helpful.
The interface is good but the filtering options for order syncing are extremely limited, leading to multiple issues.
Easyship seems uninterested in solving this signifiant problem.
We're sorry to hear you aren't happy with the service. We'd like to look into this and help find a resolution. Our team will be in touch with you shortly.
The information about this software is largely misleading. After purchasing a paid plan, you still need to create separate accounts with courier companies. The prices are higher than the actual carrier rates. They charge your account quickly, though you can later access the payment receipt from the billing section. The subscription cannot be canceled directly — it must be done through a support ticket. Overall, my experience with this software was not satisfactory.

Almost a year later, Easyship is still causing us problems. Bad faith seems to be what actually drives this business. Pages of Terms & Conditions, with an endless number of clauses that put every risk and problem back onto the customer. No renewal notice, no refund, no cancellation grace period. This is a renewal trap, plain and simple. Small business owners don't have time to micromanage every bill and every charge.
We caught our renewal 15 business days later, mainly because we'd recently switched to a far better platform. Most, if not all, of the other subscription services we use give proper notice before renewing, or at least offer honest support when something goes wrong. Easyship? Not even close. They'll drag you through delays, escalations, a "legal team," and so on. And if you're still hanging on after all that, they'll offer you something almost laughable, like turning off auto-renewal for next year. Bad faith, again. Fifteen days with no usage at all versus 350.
There are far better options out there, with real customer service, an actual account manager, and subscription fees a fraction of the cost (some even free) for a better product. Don't get caught the way we did. This lesson cost us $980+. Hopefully this review will save a few other business owners from the same mistake of doing business with Easyship.

If zero stars were possible, Easyship would earn it.
U.S. customs changes are always announced months in advance, yet nothing is ever updated in the platform to handle USMCA compliance or prevent unjustified tariffs. As a result, our fully compliant Canadian products are charged duties anyway — forcing us to absorb part of the cost just to stay fair to our customers.
When a single fulfillment team member couldn’t pass the in-app ID verification, the entire business account was disabled for 24–48 hours. That meant no shipping, no fulfillment — everything on hold.
Customer “support” is another disaster. Every interaction ends with someone who can’t actually resolve issues, and when they do act, it’s without any understanding of how real businesses operate. One rep even “fixed” a carrier error by delaying our pickup three days without telling us — and called that a solution.
Only thing they are good at is giving apologies...
Run! Don’t get involved or subscribe to Easyship. There’s nothing “easy” about it — and it’s certainly not built for serious shippers or fulfillment-driven businesses.

A good app and easily expandable with the API. But quite expensive with the monthly fee in addition to the direct shipping costs.
Easyship is fine for small startups, but once you cross 100+ orders per day, it becomes slow, unreliable, and frustrating to manage.
As order volume increases, the platform struggles badly. Almost every day there’s a new software issue—orders not syncing properly, automation rules failing, or random errors that force you to manually edit shipments one by one. That manual work easily eats up hours daily, which completely defeats the purpose of using a shipping automation tool.
Their automation is unreliable at scale. Rules don’t apply consistently, and you constantly have to double-check and fix things manually.
Chat support is always “available,” but that doesn’t mean effective. Most of the time, support agents don’t fully understand the technical issues. They usually say “we’ll refer this to our tech team”, and then you hear nothing for days, often with no real solution in the end.
