CedCommerce eBay Integration

This app is really good so far happy with the results, I am able to upload in bulk my listings and it saves me a lot of time. Rishu from customer chat has been very helpful as well. Thank you!

We've been using CedCommerce as our eBay integration solution for over a year now, and overall we are highly satisfied with the functionality, ease of use and performance of the app as well as the support provided by the CedCommerce team when needed.

After trialing a number of eBay connection apps, we settled on CedCommerce and are more than happy with the performance.

We are running the Silver Account which allows us to process up to 500 eBay orders per month. Orders are syndicated into Shopify allowing full order management in one system. Fulfillment is then synced back to eBay meaning a seamless order management process.

The app has enabled us to apply price multipliers to our products in order to cater for eBay fees and to provide free shipping to eBay customers without losing margin. Once we learned how to manage this, it has been easy to roll this out to our full product range with ease.

If you are looking to add eBay as a new sales channel for your Shopify store, I would not hesitate to recommend CedCommerce as your solution to do so.

Update - Support has seemingly fixed the situation, but only time will tell for sure.

Having used this for at least a year now, I can say that this app is not great.

The UI is very clunky; lack of filtering options.

Doesn't sync eBay/Shopify quantity properly, so I frequently end up over selling or not having the order from eBay brought over to Shopify becasue Shopify is out of stock and eBay isn't.

Whenver I contact support about this, it's always 'Okay, we've synced it for you'. Never 'I can see this is a problem, and this is what we'll do to fix it going forward'.

I recently started using CedCommerce for eBay and Shopify, and I am beyond impressed with the level of service and user experience it provides. From the moment I downloaded the app, everything has been seamless and intuitive.

The customer support team deserves special mention for their prompt and helpful responses. I had a minor issue setting up my account, and they resolved it within minutes. It's rare to find such dedicated and efficient support in today's app market.

Dropping my review down to 2 stars. After YEARS of using this app and really promoting it to my industry at large, I'm just fed up and over the app now. Customer support is still fine but the app really not capable of managing large unique skus. It often doesn't sink properly. Our internal motto is to never have anything for sale that we don't have, always inventory. CED fails in this manner for us and often. We have a large product category and more often then not, when we sell in via our online store or storefront, the products don't sync properly with Ebay. So now we have items for sale on our Ebay store that we don't actually have which is a big problem for store reputation. Customer service does a good job or always point out what WE did wrong rather then look at the totality of the situation. There is no feature that signals mismatches, there is no way to re-sync, or to bulk audit manually. Nothing to flag inventory discrepancies. According the app "everything is fine" and its not. You have to reach out to customer service (which is still fine) and can take up to an hour to resolve. I have a business to run, the software just needs to work. Clearly none of them own a business using the product they sell. So they look at business operations from an engineering solution rather then how it effects us operation. At this point we will be finding an alternative app.

This is a very power app that provides a Shopify owner the ability to own their brand but free up cash to by selling on Ebay. The app is not terribly hard but there is a steep learning curve that requires a lot of questions at the beginning. The good news is customer service is absolutely incredible. I'm barely scratching the surface on unlocking the power of the app. I freed up $1,000+ before the month was out using the app. So it paid for itself for the year at my level. Can't recommend enough.

Created more work than helped. On paper great, reality poor. No real way to oversee what it is doing and created 100s of listings that I know need to delete myself. Feel no real life knowledge of shopify and eBay has been used in the development of the app. Support had no way of helping and avoided answering questions when the answer showed flaws in the design.

If you're considering the Shopify to eBay sales channel manager by CedCommerce, I strongly advise you to look elsewhere. This integration tool has been nothing short of a nightmare, riddled with persistent issues that make it more of a hindrance than a help.

The primary function of any sales channel manager is to seamlessly sync inventory between platforms. Unfortunately, this manager fails spectacularly in this regard. Inventory discrepancies are a daily occurrence, leading to overselling on eBay and constant headaches. Items listed on Shopify often don't appear on eBay, or worse, remain listed on eBay even after being sold out on Shopify.

The only thing consistent about this manager is the constant need for support. Unfortunately, the support from CedCommerce, while generally responsive, does not make up for the sheer number of problems you’ll face. You’ll spend countless hours in chat or on calls trying to resolve issues that should have been ironed out before release.

Far from effortless. After about six months of attempts and multiple accounts, I still don't have a single product on eBay. I'm trying something else.

I have been CedCommerce Customer for many years and have used both ebay and Amazon integration apps on our previous opencart platform. After moving to shopify platform, the Cedcommerce support guys helped in installing and migrating our products from opencart to Shoopify. They also linked our existing products on ebay with the shopify ebay app. Abhijeet has been helpful in uploading products and explaining how to create profiles and templates and once I got my head round profiles and templates etc. I had no issue uploading products on ebay.
In my view you won't get better apps and customer service , i am so thankful to Abhijeet
