Cleverific Order Edit & Upsell

Cleverific has become the bedrock of our business operations since we migrated to Shopify. Dealing with Laura, Andrew and the team has been the biggest joy. Nothing is too much trouble and work gets done quickly, accurately and most importantly with a CAN DO attitude. I honestly don't think we would be on Shopify if not for Cleverific due to the complexity of our business processing and how easy things have been made thanks to Edit Order by Cleverific. We wouldn't use Shopify if not for this app. As you know, Shopify doesn't allow you to change completed orders due to liability concerns, but Edit Order is the next best thing. Though it's more of a work around than anything else, it works seamlessly enough to where your customers wouldn't know the difference if your order was changed after the fact.

Give yourself a little bit of time to get a feel of the mechanics of the app, and be sure to test the app out a lot on dummy accounts before going live with it. I recommend taking their tutorials and walkthroughs just so you have a better idea of what to expect from the app.

This app is fantastic! I was initially shocked to learn that there was no way to edit orders in Shopify. Finding this app was amazing, as it more than made up for this missing feature!

The edit options can be a little daunting at first, but this is only because the app can do so much. I sell customized products, and the customization details are sent through to an order management system that handle multi-channel orders. With this app, I can add line item customizations when editing an order for a customer. This lets me include that customization info on the product that is being customized.

All in all, this app is worth every penny!

Awesome app that makes our life so much easier. As a coffee roaster we have both Retail and Wholesale and several times are adjusting orders for our wholesale customers and provide special pricing for specific customers. This app has made all of this possible. And the team of Edit order is awesome, as we had a suggestion for app improvement and they immediately got onto it and within days added a new feature that saved us hours of work that we had to do before.
I highly recommend this app to anyone who has the need to ever edit an order or takes in orders over the phone and has to enter them. It is the best order editing app we could find.

UPDATE:

A few days after I wrote the below review, Mike from Edit Order (new management) contacted me and sorted everything out. He quickly responded to all my emails and questions and even added some new functionality which helps us speed up the manual order process. Very happy with how this app works now.

We're not even able to access this app anymore, even when we approve the charge of $19/month. No reply from the support desk.

This was once a great app at a very reasonable price and it's a shame that all the hard work Ryan (previous owner) put in has gone to waste. We will be looking elsewhere to create custom orders.

We have used EditOrder for over a year now. We ship to wholesale account and direct to consumer. Wholesale accounts are constantly changing their orders. Even the DTC has changes. I can't imagine using Shopify if we didn't have EditOrder to make changes. I would have to go back to WooCommerc which is where we came from. Their support team is very responsive. I have had to contact them 3 separate times and they have always responded back quickly with answers that made send. In other words they correctly interpreted my problem. I have not found this to be the case with all other app support requests. I would rate them a must have for being able to edit orders in Shopify.

This app is essential for any Shopify store. The fact that you cannot edit an Order in Shopify alone, means that you would have to refund your customer (and we all know how long refunds can take to go through) and re-charge them, all to change, maybe, the color of an item they're purchasing.

This app provides the solution, and does it in an extremely intelligent way. Everything makes sense with the app, and it is so easy to use that most of our users haven't needed any training.

I really can't say enough about this app, and support is extremely quick with their responses, and thorough! I only have to ask my question once and I get a detailed response that makes sense.

Get this app!!!!

We use this app often to edit orders. We have had some bumps along the way. More to do with how we use the app, rather than the functionality of the app itself. Regardless, anytime we have encountered an issue, the Edit Order team has been attentive, prompt, and overall truly amazing with the support they have provided us. They have even been working with us to make improvements to the app that would better support our Company's use. Also, a special shout-out to Vanessa and Laura. Both of you have helped me personally overcome some issues. I appreciate you so much! You both have gone above and beyond. Just know that your special care makes all the difference! This app is really essential with any Shopify instance. It provides functionality that Shopify should have had all along, allowing you to Edit an order, removing or adding items, or just swapping variants.

Any issue we've run into has been resolved quickly by their support team, and they really take into account what users are requesting when adding new features.

Even when Shopify adds editing ability, we'll likely still use this app, as they've got the experience with what customers need, and are always extremely helpful. I've never waited more than a day before hearing from their support team, and they know their product! No first tier support to get through that gives useless suggestions like most apps.

I'd recommend this app to anyone and everyone using Shopify!

There is a change in management for this app and there is no communication ever since this app has been bought out by new management. Now, the new management has become greedy and started charging the basic stores as well a monthly fee of 19$. Sorry! I am un-installing this app as I will not pay so much monthly. Watch out for that May 3rd date as you will be charged from that date and it is no longer FREE.

UPDATE : Even when you approve the charge, this app is not working as it is unable to confirm the payment like others said. I had to use it for a couple of days until the trial period is over to fix a few things. In any case, I found Stitch labs app which costs a little more but it helps through inventory and does everything Edit order does and more.. Check it out. I am pretty thrilled to be testing it.
