My name is carmen Proctor. I am the owner of Blushbeam.co.uk. I thought that Facebook and Instagram were easy to set up, but I am in the process of hiring a freelancer who has the expertise to completely set up Facebook and Instagram for me. The pixel tracking on Facebook is very hard to set up. Facebook need to make that system simple for individuals who do not have the money to pay a freelancer to set up Facebook. When I fix something on Facebook, some else goes wrong; it's getting too hard.

This app caused my meta account to map wrong and have spent over two weeks trying to fix to no avail. I would highly avoid.

Es ist keine Verbindung zu Shopify möglich. Keine Ahnung wie so ein Konzern so einen Mist bereitstellen kann. Statt Shop-Besitzern zu helfen werden einem nur Steine in den Weg gelegt. Nach 5 Stunden rumgebastel gebe ich es auf. Dann bekommt halt jemand anderes mein Werbebudget. Tschüss META

After installation, it is impossible to connect to a Facebook account. Waste of time. Any potential solution is complicated, time-consuming and not guaranteed to solve the connection problem. Disappointing

My store is live but I have neverf seen my store. I was told it was mobile only so I logged into a different account but still nothing. I just found it to be a very poor experence and I have corrently given up on Facebook and instagram and have been concentrating on the others.

Will not sync my catalog & very vague with how to achieve this. Many hours over many days waisted, still no answer in sight!

I’m facing an issue with the Facebook & Instagram application. I recently noticed that after installing it, there is no option to reconnect an existing catalog. The app automatically creates a new catalog instead.

Please add an option to connect or assign an existing catalog during setup. This feature is essential for those who already have a catalog set up.

The built-in connection with the Meta Pixel also allows us to track customer behaviour and run retargeting ads effectively. However, the initial setup process is not beginner-friendly. It involves multiple steps—from verifying the domain to linking the correct Business Manager, Catalog, and Ad Account—and can be frustrating if you're not familiar with Meta’s backend systems. Approval for Instagram Shopping took longer than expected and lacked clear feedback. Support through the app is limited, and most issues require navigating Facebook Business Manager, which isn't always intuitive. Despite the challenges, the app is a powerful tool for selling across Meta’s platforms once everything is connected properly. For small business owners or new users, there’s a learning curve, but it’s worth the effort. We’d rate it 4 out of 5 stars.

Absolutely impossible! A nightmare experience every time I try to even connect to meta via SHOPIFY. The hours I have spent mucking about with it. And then I totally ignore it for months as it is so soul sucking until I have to do it again because my products have disappeared. It used to be seamless when it was just SHOPIFY and Instagram.
