I'm a superfan of Faire! I love it as both as a maker/seller and a shop owner/buyer seeking out small shops with values aligned with my products and as a buyer seeking out bespoke, truly independent brands making high quality, thoughtful, unique products with the same high standards and care that I put into my own products (I have two different businesses). Extremely pleased with this platform.
I'm not happy with the amount of fees Faire takes on each sale, especially the $10 fee every time a new retailer orders from me. It's called a First Sale Fee. I thought it meant first sale. It means the first sale for every different retailer. If the retailer reorders from me, I won't be charged the $10. That's on top of the commission you pay and card processing fee.
I also had a hard time linking products to Shopify so only 1 of 9 products are linked. Could have just been me though or a glitch that particular day?
Besides the fees, the app is all inclusive and orders sync well with both Shopify and ShipStation if you use that app as well.
WHAT A NIGHTMARE. I have been working on and off since March (it's now July) to get my Shopify-Faire integration to work correctly. I got so frustrated that I just put it aside for a couple of months only to return to a bigger nightmare ... products duplicating, some missing, inability to add things to cart, carts emptying, etc.... The issue is likely not that complicated but there are too many ways that you can sync the two systems and no good troubleshooting support. BUT the main issue is that Faire support takes forever to respond and when they do so they select one thing to focus on which is often not the crux of the issue. I've decided to delete the app and start from scratch but my store was essentially ineffective during all of Faire's Summer Market and I got minimal to no response or help from Faire. I am integrated with a couple of other platforms and the process was very smooth so the issue is 100% this app.
The order syncing is a little fishy - Shopify and Faire orders will currently not sync both ways unless the Faire orders are within a shipping zone (meaning that geographical area gets flat rate shipping on all your products). This is due to a shipping issue between Faire and Shopify.
Otherwise, great app. You need to make sure everything syncs to Faire correctly.
This app is a great idea but definitely has some issues. I only want to offer a fraction of my products on Faire but when I installed the app, ALL products were assigned the Faire tag. I removed the tag, but the products are still in Faire with no easy way to remove them. They are disabled, but it's still very cumbersome. I also have no reason to show Faire orders in my Shopify dashboard. It skews my daily sales numbers and creates two places where the order exists (in Faire and Shopify). I wish there was a way to keep the integration but turn off orders from showing in Shopify. I'd prefer to not use this app at all, but the one benefit that is really helpful is the inventory sync in Shopify and Faire .
The worst application I have ever used. The support is just as useless.
Product variations are only partially published, and support keeps sending irrelevant videos with settings that have absolutely nothing to do with the actual issue.
I would never recommend bringing your customers to this platform. You’ll only embarrass yourself, and your customers will end up leaving for competitors with a platform that actually works properly.
We have not been successful in reaching our Faire Account Representative. Despite multiple attempts since April 2026, including emails and trying to connect through live chat, we have not received a response.
We have been actively trying to get our Faire account activated, but without support from Faire, we've been unable to move the process forward. We would greatly appreciate assistance in connecting us with the appropriate team so we can resolve this and get our account active again.
Faire.com has given me valuable resources for the B2B market. I appreciate the Faire.com customer for referring Railroad Sock to the platform. I am excited to learn about all of you and we grow our businesses together!
Integrating products between shopify and Faire is a nightmare.
Most dont import into Faire correctly, and its too much effort to continue with
