Flow is very useful, but the workflow testing feature needs an option to manually enter or search for a specific order number. At the moment it only shows a small selection of recent events. I had a known order that perfectly matched the conditions I was building, but I couldn't select it because it wasn't included in the recent events list. Being able to enter an order number and use that order as test data would make building and verifying workflows much easier.

In the test panel, you "Add event" and then "Create event". There you'll see an option to choose an order.
Occasional glitches such as the app deleting a draft meaning having to start again but otherwise it's a very intuitive, useful tool.
the app is ok; my issue is with the selecting templates; I've created and saved messages I want to use in my flows but after navigating to drafts to the select them, the app has not been adding anything I select as a template to be included in my flow. It's been an endless loop of refreshing and starting over only to not have the app not add any messages selected, weather my own or shopify's message template. this has becoming extremely frustrating for me. Fix this please.....
I think you are describing an issue with the Messaging app and not Flow. Please report this to Shopify support.

Ottima App, un po' ostica all'inizio nell'utilizzo, ma con l'aiuto del mio amico SideKick tutto si risolve. Sarebbe utile avere qualche opzione in più, come ad esempio la possibilità di passare variabili dinamiche alle varie condizioni
Great for quick automations. Needs more granular capabilities for devs with more lower-level experience. A native 'Parse JSON' action would be extremely helpful and same with some better version-control capabilities. I see there are checksums in the exported .flow files, but would be nice to have some better version control in the UI
Hi thanks for the review. For parsing json, have you tried "Run code"? That's a key use case...you can make that json accessible to your workflow. Regarding version control - rolling out today you can view past versions, compare, and restore.
Shopify Flow is extremely useful once you understand how the triggers, conditions and customer segments work. I’ve used it to build automated customer journeys for rewards, returning customers and anniversary emails. It gives a lot of control without needing a separate automation app. There is a learning curve, especially around wait limits and segment logic, but overall it’s a very powerful tool for Shopify stores.

Shopify Flow has been really great to have. I have been able to set up inventory alerts, flows to help launch sales, add tags, add products to collections and more. Plus, I'm sure there is a ton of other awesome stuff we can use Flow for.
