Shopify Flow

It is a wonderful tool to have, but it is mighty confusing for folks without coding/tech/backend knowledge, such as myself. I always have to use the Sidekick tool and I'm grateful it exists and I can make these work...but it would be awesome to have more tutorials within the app as to not have to pull in an ai tool to help. Otherwise, I love it!

Helped me with so many automations (Sign up emails, auto tagging) as well as admin tasks like automatically translating my existing wholesale customers into companies after implementing shopify's native B2B features. Paired with Sidekick, the workflow app has vast potential for almost any task!

The Html editor is very bad, honestly.
The design tool is okay, but comparing it to other providers, mostly in functionality and simplicity, precision - its behind.
Takes too long to set-up, or replicate an email flow.

Other than that, Great!

Powerful Automation Tool – A Must-Have for Shopify Stores!

Shopify Flow has been an excellent tool for our CoinGems store. It has helped us automate numerous workflows, streamline daily operations and significantly reduce manual tasks.

Flow itself is great, but the new AI/Sidekick experience makes it unnecessarily painful to use, and the search is quite weak. Please give us an option to disable Sidekick and build/edit flows manually, with a better way to find triggers, conditions, and actions

Allows you to build macros and reactionary actions to the moving pieces of your store. I laymen's terms, it's an "If this, then that" protocol. IE: If X Customer purchases from me, then email me a notification at Y address

very confusing to use and I don't like how I can't have a customer immediately leave the workflow after the first false condition. By not having that, I have to set extra condition for the entire email campaign to make sure they don't accidentally get emails later.

This work flow is working excellent to prevent this supplier from lowering the price so low that I am loosing money on every sales from their products. By lowering their price and making the margin only 5%, I am paying Shopify Shop ads for Customer Acquisition and this supplier ( Pretty Bash & one Called My Store which is really Arivon LLC ) are gaining all the benefits from my new customers. I will continue to watch for suppliers who are using Retailers like me to make sales for them and we get no profit from the sales.

Sidekick is not super clear on how this all works. Maybe this is a sidekick issue, but the integration needs a little work. I had it create a workflow for me but it didn't integrate somehow, and I had to rebuild it myself. I get a lot of guesses and wrong answers about what can and cannot be done by Flow.

I still don't know if added steps to the journey will get sent to people in the middle of the journey.

Flow is very useful, but the workflow testing feature needs an option to manually enter or search for a specific order number. At the moment it only shows a small selection of recent events. I had a known order that perfectly matched the conditions I was building, but I couldn't select it because it wasn't included in the recent events list. Being able to enter an order number and use that order as test data would make building and verifying workflows much easier.
