Shopify Flow

Shopify Flow is an excellent automation tool, but it is missing native support for transactional emails. We can send marketing emails only to subscribed customers, but we cannot send service emails (such as shipping delay notifications) directly to customers from a workflow. Adding a native "Send transactional email" action with access to order variables would be a huge improvement.

Can be somewhat convoluted and confusing at first; once you get the hang of it, it can be extremely useful. Plus this app has only gotten better as the devs continue to add new values, actions, and conditions. I use it to add order tags, send internal emails, send customer emails, customer notifications (abandoned cart, abandoned browse), and various other operations that I wish to run in the background automatically. It takes a lot of manual work off my plate and keeps my physical workflow easy and simplified.

I tried to see the draft email that it had created, but it would not work. It showed the version of the draft before I made changes.

finding variables is very difficult

Very easy to use. The event triggers are intuitive.

Had quite a few errors when trying to create flows and items just not working

good. would be easier if sidekick was better. it makes things up often or suggests overly complex solutions

sometimes when using sidekick to use make workflow (without initally going to the workflow screen) there is no button the add workflow to store.

Albeit a bit slow, (Maybe just me), the app works very well. I have to say, it is simple and easy to implement. Very intuitive. I recommend
