Rise Gift Cards & Store Credit

Incredible customer service. Running CartHook for checkouts and Rise was able to migrate my native Shopify gift cards in a matter of hours during the weekend - great tech, even better CX team.

We are using this app to allow customers to purchase gifts and send their friends and families eCards. Their app is very robust and their customer service is top notch - they're happy to have calls to scope out your requirements and help you do what you need to do. Roy in particular is great to work with!

I have ZERO coding experience and these guys were there to setup my app and help me make custom changes FOR FREE. I emailed them back and forth for weeks getting help making tweaks. I have literally just downloaded it and am still setting it up for the free 7 day trial but I wanted to check that it would issue gift cards in £ instead of $ (as I couldn't see an option to change the currency), so I sent a message to Ari and he responded within seconds! He confirmed that yes, it would automatically send in the currency set up in my Shopify site. So it's good to know help is so readily available for people like me who don't really know what they're doing!

We installed this app to be able to offer ALL our customers the option To purchase gift cards and not just the people who use Apple wallet. It’s a great app, very easy to use IMO, and integrated well with our store. The support from Rise is even better. They are quick to respond and are knowledgeable. They even helped me in a holiday weekend! I definitely recommend them to anyone looking to add this functionality to their store. This app can do so much more than just gift cards which we will be looking into soon!

I'm looking forward to the holiday season with Rise. I spent a great deal of time customizing customer emails, the popup cards, etc. And found the process time-consuming, but easy—in other words, exactly as expected. Throughout the process, as minor issues arose, customer service has been very quick to respond and assist me with my queries. Highly recommended. Update 11.19.20: Even the smallest, least consequential tweaks to random design-related nonsense is met with prompt, and with one Rise associate in particular, cheerful help. Thank you Dana, you're an absolute gem:) And you deserve a raise.

Great support, extended my trial without question and the app looks very good so far, a much-needed bulk gift card functionality. recommend.

If you are a retail store or extremely high volume store that needs to constantly issue credits/gift cards to customers then this might be for you. We found it looking for "loyalty" programs and found that at $600 for the year it was extremely bare bones and did not fit our business at all. All sorts of features available if you pay more but for a basic rewards, loyalty building app I would steer clear of this one.

Subscribe feature is available now! There is no unsubscribe option allowing customers to opt out of email notifications from the app. I've been on chat time and time again to figure out options and the assistance is awful and leads to no options. Avoid this app if you don't want to deal with angry customers that can't unsubscribe. Hopefully I can find a better option. The headache with a large customer count is not worth the store credit function.
