Wir haben die App kürzlich installiert. Bereits nach einem Tag hat Google eine automatisierte Mail mit folgendem Inhalt geschrieben: We've reviewed your Merchant Center account and found policy violations. Your Merchant Center account has been suspended, and your products are no longer being promoted.
Note that a suspension notification is also displayed in your Merchant Center account. In addition, related Merchant Center accounts may also get suspended.
Your Merchant Center account is in violation of the following policies: Misrepresentation Google doesn't want users to feel misled by the content promoted in Shopping ads. [link to policy] In determining whether a merchant and/or site meets our requirements, we may review information from multiple sources including your website, product listings, accounts and third party sources. If you believe there’s been an error, please contact us by visiting https://support.google.com/merchants/gethelp. If you believe there's been an error or you believe you have fixed the issues, we want to help. Use the “Request review” button located on the Account Issues tab on the Diagnostics page of your Merchant Center account to request account reevaluation or contact us. I don't recommend the app, since shopify events are not sent over to adwords. Shopify support said they cannot help with google analytics and sent me a bunch of links, when I asked for support for a shopify app. When we analyzed oue raw data in shopify we found 3x conversion from google ads than ads or google analytics showed. This is _owned data_, that should be provided to where you place your bets. This place is google ads (& GA). This idea ("one click google ads setup") of this app is excellent, the performance & support are not.

Thank you for sharing your feedback regarding your experience with the Google channel app. The Google Channel is used to sync product information to your Google Merchant Centre and Google Ads accounts. The channel does not have an association with the Google Analytics part of Google's platform. Diese App verursacht schwerwiegende Probleme bei den Artikeldaten, so dass sämtliche Artikel von Google abgelehnt werden. Dies hat zur Folge, dass das Merchants Konto suspendiert wurde.
Absolutely useless if you have PRODUCT VARIANTS. This app ignores them totally. Very disappointing!!
After connecting my YouTube brand channel all products are imported to YouTube. But you are unable to connect to my main Google Ads account. You can only use your Google Ads account if you have a personal YouTube account. Almost no professional YouTuber uses a personal YouTube account. A YouTube brand account does not have its own email address and thats why you can not access to Google ads.

Changes in the feed aren't synchronised, missing fields still show up. With this lack of functionality the app is not useful.

The connection between the google channel and YouTube shopping is not working, and neither Shopify Support or Youtube Partner Support know a solution. I think this is a buggy Software tbh.

Nachdem die App mehr schlecht als recht gelaufen ist (keine Übertragung von Grundpreisen; unterschiedliche Fehlermeldungen zwischen shopify-app und Google-Merchant-Center; die google-Felder einzelne Produkte lassen sich immer nur über die Gesamtansicht ändern; kein Support durch shopify, da immer wieder auf google als Problemquelle und App-Lieferant verwiesen wird; ...), werden unsere Produkte seit einiger Zeit nicht mehr synchronisiert und google löscht sie nach und nach aus dem Merchant-Center als 'abgelaufen'.
Ich habe alles korrekt verbunden, jedoch gibt es immer wieder Probleme im Conversion-Tracking, insbesondere wenn man das Theme wechselt. Ich verstehe nicht, warum Google das nicht korrekt hinbekommt. Der Kundenservice kann mir auch nicht wirklich weiterhelfen. Hier ist dringend ein App-Update notwendig!
