I am delighted with this app. I got it to help me speed up my site by optomising the images. It has given me the feeling I can help myself without having to employ expensive techniques that would make it unviable for my small business. I don't know as yet what else would help more. As a shop admin, I struggle to find the time to ensure that my images are the desired size and that they have adequate alternate text. As soon as I installed this app, I could run it in the background and return to other things knowing that it was doing exactly what I want it to. Highly recommended!!!
I needed something that could edit my images in bulk to improve visual consistency on my website and reduce the image file size while still keeping the image quality, in order to make my page load speed better and to rank better on Google. This app is amazing and so simple to use!! Keep up the great work!!!! Sam is excellent too!
Très bonne app pour redimensionner le format (on peut choisir le format exact en pixels) et optimiser la taille des images (par exemple, réduire de 20% etc.). Il est possible également de choisir quels visuels doivent être redimensionnés et annuler les modifications si nécessaire (pendant une semaine après la modif). Pour le renommage SEO des images, ils devraient bientôt l'adapter au marché français. Ce sera super, un gain de temps énorme. Et leur support est très réactif.
A good app and it's free. However, there are problems when renaming the image files with European character sets, for example.
Why? Here's an example:
Product designation: fruit tea.... becomes "chtetee..." (the letters Frü are missing at the beginning) "....fruechtee..." would be correct.
or product designation: "...gift tag..." becomes ....giftanh_nger... (the "ä" is missing here") "...gift tag..." would be correct here. It would be nice if that could be improved.
Then this function would also be useful in countries with extended character sets.

In fact, it's not simply a bug. Only ascii code characters can be used in the url, otherwise it will bring many unexpected problems on the user side. Most of the time, the current results is much better than gibberish names. But still, we'll find better solutions.
We will prompt merchants in European character sets about this problem, and we will also provide a new modification method to remove garbled characters in original file names.
These features will be available in a few weeks.
