LoyaltyHarbour Image Optimizer

UPDATE: Had a fantastic customer service experience that went above and beyond in improving our site speed. We were bogged down by some poor optimizations and support helped me fix my errors and achieve excellent improvements just in time for the holiday rush! Highly recommend.

ORIGINAL REVIEW:
My site speed was faster than 69% of websites on Pingdom prior to use. After using the app, our website is now faster than 86% of websites using the same test. Over 1100 photos and the app did some serious work. I definitely recommend for those with lots of photos. UPDATE

Update: It seems that our emails arrived in spam. Once they caught them, they were super responsive and addressed our problem with a very good solution. So we are now satisfied with everything and can safely recommend the App. Original message: We used the application a few months ago, and we must admit that it worked well for us. However, we wanted to use it again recently and needed help from the team. After 1 month and 3 emails, we are still waiting for an answer... We wanted to become paying customers, but this does not give us confidence in case of problems in the future.

LOVE IT!!! ***** - The world has gone mobile! We need every advantage we can get to optimize our site, speed, multi-tasking and multi- screens - We literally only have a few seconds to retain our customers with great deals and great service, BUT .... if our site takes toooo long to load, our pics to hefty, and have chunks of scripts with apps that are too huge and burdensome, ... our customers leave and are on to more friendlier sites that load fast to meet their needs and demanding schedules! My test score soared high among mobile and desktop devices with the use of this app! Don't wait, increase you sites speed and visibility NOW with this incredible app! ... and CUSTOMER SERVICE??? SIMPLY THE BEST!!! When I had a problem, Vitalii answered my support ticket super fast, offered suggestions and even manually helped me out! Who does that in todays' world? Who literally takes the time to treat your questions as though they were their own questions and views your site as though it is their own and wants the best for you??? I cannot rave high enough and review big enough about this app, It is simply the best, ...big bang for your buck and now I have piece of mind knowing that my site is mobile and desktop/laptop friendly. Priceless! Thank you Vitalii!!! - Michele Adams/Shopkeeper - thevillagecountrystore.com

Seriously awesome app, works great and support is the best of all the apps we've ever used!

App is great, image quality never suffers, works perfectly and love the SEO feature options for tagging images!

Hands down this application is a must have...optimized everyone of our images that we had optimized already and brought the overall site image size down 32% in 5 minutes...that's amazing.

Simple and fastest way to optimize all our images. Didnt even realize how big some of our images until I studied Google Analytics. Hopefully will speed up our site www.savagefielhockey.com

we have almost 2000 images on our website and it was slow! thought we had to send off the images to someone to compress and change to jpeg. that would have taken a lot of time to find the original images, send them out and drop them back in again. this app did it in 2 hours- AMAZING! And we still wanted even more speed in loading pages. Customer support is as good as the app and that's saying a lot. Vitalii logged in to our admin found a piece of coding from another app developer that was contributing to the slow down and then, with our permission, contacted the other developer. Great improvement and great experience

I saved 192 megs on 528 images... 72%!. The app made it easy to do and it took a minimal amount of time to perform the task. ALSO, and importantly, contrary to another review, NO ALT TEXT WAS REMOVED. The app did not affect anything in the Alt Text or SEO. Last, the support staff contacted me immediately with my initial inquiries on operation, etc.

The app also clearly allows you to RESTORE, View Details, Compare File Size...AND even compare the visual difference in files - ALL WITH A SIMPLE CLICK OF A BUTTON.

To reiterate - the support is awesome....not that you need it anyway :-)

Amazing! The app itself works as it should with little effort on your part besides clicking a few buttons and letting the app do the work.
I am more amazed with the help I received when trying to setup a new theme. The homepage was loading EXTREMELY slow. So, I contacted the support email as I thought to have the images optimized and this would speed things up. When I received an email back they offered to optimize the images manually. After optimizing the images they found that the slow loading speeds was not the images. They offered look into the theme and found the problem after doing multiple checks! I had contacted Shopify Support, the theme developer, the theme 3rd party designer I contracted and apps that I thought could be causing the issue. This app was the only company/person that looked into the issue and took the time to look into and help me fix it.
