We've had some issues with languages, I think mainly because it's not in integrated feature in Shopify. But Langify helps us manage that, with a good result for our customers, and with very helpful, kind and quick response everytime we need some adjustments e.g. because we develop new features or integrate new apps to our store. So definitely 5 stars to the team behind Langify.

Langify is a practical and economical way to translate your website into another language. You control the translation instead of a bot and that makes all the difference. I must say, that if you run into a problem - and it happens, their team will work tirelessly to rectify it and I mean tirelessly. When I had an issue, they went far and beyond what I expected and it wasn't an easy issue to fix. I am grateful to the Langify team for the above and beyond help they gave me. Keep it up!

This is hands down the best app for going international. It's very simple to use and extremely useful. What I like about it is that you can customize your website per country because the CSS codes of your theme can be slightly changed for each particular language to create a "local website" feel.

Our favorite is the "custom" translation part in the app which makes it very easy to translate 1000+ products in just a few clicks!

I am sure langify is one of the most crucial & defining assets for our website.

Very good app. Support team was super helpful in resolving issues. I would give it a 4 1/2 stars.
The only reason why I won't give it a full 5 stars is because some content can't be translated, but maybe it's because shopify hansn't integrated these features (for instance terms and conditions, privacy, etc. can't be translated.) Also, it would be great to have the option of having different URL extension depending on the language (instead of a language switcher). Would however recommend this app without a doubt!

I never write reviews, but this time i am too impressed.
In fact, i think when you are given something more than you expected, you should do the same in return.

The app is simply reliable and the only really easy and useful on the app market.
The support is great and fast, but also extraordinarily committed to the client.
I asked them to help me publish the traslation and place the switcher button, Jerome did it quick and careful about the design on our website, the results are great.

I used Langify to translate my entire website. It was very easy overall. Much of it was customized, so I ran into a little trouble finding where the specific areas were located, but minutes after I used the support tab and sent my inquiry (which was very late at night), I received precise information and step by step info. I managed to get in there and do it quickly! Super support at all times and very professional. These people know what they are doing and know how to communicate even if you aren't a developer yourself. EXCELLENT! Highly recommend Langify. Easy and great support. What more do we want!

We had used different solutions before we came up to Langify, And the results were totally beyond our expectations, here are some:

1- We were able to have three translations without any extra charges like the other solutions.
2- The subscription fee is very competitive.
3- Support is fantastic we got our problems solved from Johannes in less than 5 minutes.
4- The translation itself is built on top of the Shopify architecture, and this is the most added value we like.

We would definitely recommend any international Shopify store to subscribe to Langify from today.

I am very sorry but this app is a horror experience for us. We lost a lot of money, support is very slow, I told support how important it is. It took me almost a week now to translate everything with this app. Actually I should take money for the hours of work, you can't imagine how much work it was, the app has errors everywhere and texts are not translated. Since the translation was changed all at once, we had very high Google Ads costs. I despair with this app and really can only strongly advise everyone not to install this app. This app almost broke our entire Shopify store, I even ended up begging support to help us after all, nothing happened. If you wanted to save yourself a lot of stress and aggravation, please do not install this app. Go to the competition, really. For me this app was like a horror movie and I almost lost my mind.

Absolutely the most amazing support service ever! Shout out to Sabrina! She is absolutely amazing, goes above and beyond, and should get a freaking raise right now. Look, when you start working with different apps and trying to make everything play nicely together, things somethings don't work right away. To everyone out there running into issues. The problem can be with this app, another app, the Theme you're using, Shopify, etc. It can be a bunch of different stuff. That's exactly what happened with us. And then there is also the fact that the developers we used in India had no clue how to solve the translation errors. Here comes Sabrina from support, who with the patience of a nun, helped me out despite the fact that the problem was not a Langify-caused issue. She was right in pointing that out, but also was kind enough to point me in the right direction to fix the issue. I have zero coding experience, but anyone who is smart and/or brave enough to start a webshop can figure this out. It cost me an hour or two to scan through the code, find the missing language fields, add in the new fields and translations, and get everything working fine. My advice to everyone running into issues. 1. Take a deep breath. Relax. The problems are solvable. 2. Contact support and ask them nicely for help. Yes, they may say that the problem is not caused by Langify, and they are probably right. 3. Ask them nicely (see what I'm doing here...) to help you solve the issue. They can point you in the right direction and even give you a quick example of what you need to do. 4. Take another deep breath, open the code, find the missing lines and add/replace what is needed. 5. Save, close, and feel like a freaking king, because you just did your first coding. 6. Open a beer and relax. Kidding aside, the support folks are super helpful. Keep your cool and you will get things done. Trust this is helpful. Dennis

V2 Rocks ! Guys, trust me, I tried them all and realise there is 2 categories of app (and wish I had someone telling that in a review !)
1. Apps that will send the info of your page to a server first, then translate it, and then send it back to your website. They are slow, limited and it is very difficult to customise bad translations.
2. Then you have apps such as Langify that offer a translation using Shopify API and so translate your website ...on your Shopify server. It is fast and full of bonuses.

I mean if you read this review, it is because you need to translate your website, and let's admit , it suck as you may not speak the other languages and you have to redo the job a 2nd time...not exciting.
I am going to give you two reasons to install at this app. I am saving you time guys :
- Cool you want to translate your pages...but what about the clients' email notifications ? Did you thought about them? I didn't it immediately and realised it too late ahahah Langify is doing it for you and in 2s.
- You are using some custom apps like Bold Loyalty program etc. These kind of apps are tricky because not displayed on your pages directly so other translation apps won't see the text. I discover that Langify is offering a custom translation feature where you can type the text to translate and it will do the job. Easy !

Pricing is also top of the pop. It cost me less than $20 in extra credits to translate my website in German and English. I mean it is nothing, especially when you know that com agencies will charge you a minimum of $5,000 to prepare a non-shopify website for just a 2nd language (and you still have to do the translation).

Support is also very reactive. You may need them if some apps a tricky to translate but to be honest, they can go chilled out on island somewhere and drink cocktails as their app is working perfectly and is self sufficient :) :) Take my $20 guys and have drink for me, you have done an amazing job with this V2 of the app !!

Forget the wingers in other reviews : v2 is what you need, v2 is fully integrated to Shopify and v2 is fast, super fast because... it is your Shopify server, it is Shopify translation at the end. Simple.
