Works great, does exactly what it should do. Makes it very easy to add different fields to specific products. In short: great app. But the best thing: their customer service is amazing! They are super helpful and fast. Totally recommend this app

I installed Magical Form Fields to test for a fairly specific use case involving multiple image uploads and a short video upload per order. The app itself is easy to set up, integrates well with Shopify products, and the core functionality for image/document uploads works smoothly.

However, there are a couple of limitations worth noting. Video file types such as .mp4 are not currently supported, which may be restrictive depending on your workflow. A workaround using external links (Drive/Dropbox) was suggested, but it’s not quite as seamless as native uploads.

One important behaviour merchants should be aware of:

files uploaded via the product page are stored in Shopify Content → Files even if the customer never completes checkout, and these files are not automatically cleaned up. While support mentioned they haven’t received abuse reports, this does mean there’s potential for file storage clutter or misuse if someone repeatedly uploads files without ordering.

That said, support was responsive, transparent, and helpful when answering my questions, which I appreciated. Overall, the app is solid for image/document-based workflows, but merchants with more advanced upload requirements or concerns around file storage handling security may want to test carefully first.

Amazing service, I have to have the customization on the products I sell. I'm also not great with technology. After I struggled for a few days, they emailed me to check on how it was going. After quickly realizing they needed to come in to help, they got it all set up perfect for me in less than an hour!

This app is simply Magical! I wanted a straightforward app to manage the order flow of a product in my store. However, I tried more than 4 apps with no luck. Other apps were too expensive, and I didn't need so many functions anyway. So happy I found this app. John and Jeff helped me with a few app issues and resolved them quickly. I'm so excited about this app! We are running a fundraiser on Shopify (for certain products) and I couldn't figure out a way to collect info that gives credit to those driving traffic. The Magical Custom Fields app shows up next to the product and is so easy. Customer service was great to help me figure it out when I was not installing it correctly. This is going to make my life so easy for what I'm trying to do, thank you!

Easy to set up and really adds value to my store. I've already seen increased order values. I needed one small customization and the customer service team was awesome and fast. A friend recommended this app to me and I'll be recommending it to everyone I know with a Shopify store!

I've had multiple support requests for Magical Fields do to the complexity of what we offer, and what we expect internally to keep our operation running smoothly. The service is always excellent and fast. And while this app still doesn't do EVERYTHING that we would like it to, it does make it possible for us to offer our products via Shopify. We couldn't do this without them.

Works very well for our floral web site to allow us to put in extra fields (e.g. Card messages). Simple set up and go for us (shopify newbies!). Also, they did some work for us as well to include those extra fields in the order confirmation emails as well, which is great.
