MIDA Fraud Filter, Bot Blocker

Gestisco un marchio artigianale di moda sostenibile e made-to-order, e purtroppo nell'ultimo periodo ero bersagliata da continui attacchi di bot di card testing e spam di carrelli abbandonati che rischiavano di compromettere la stabilità operativa. Cercavo una soluzione chirurgica che mi aiutasse a bloccare i malintenzionati senza penalizzare minimamente i miei clienti reali, in particolare quelli internazionali che navigano da dispositivi mobili o utilizzano browser protetti.

MIDA ha superato ogni aspettativa. L'applicazione è incredibilmente intuitiva da configurare ma offre un livello di protezione potentissimo e granulare. Grazie alla possibilità di filtrare proxy, indirizzi IP ad alto rischio e di impostare regole di blocco mirate (senza bloccare le VPN o l'iCloud Private Relay dei nostri clienti su Safari), ho risolto il problema al 100% dal primo giorno di attivazione, azzerando i falsi positivi.

Un plauso speciale va anche al team di supporto: competenti, rapidissimi e sempre disponibili a guidarti con gentilezza. Se avete un negozio su Shopify e volete dormire sonni tranquilli proteggendo il vostro checkout dalle frodi automatizzate, MIDA è senza dubbio la scelta migliore sul mercato. Consigliatissima al 100%!

MIDA is an excellent app for monitoring visitor behavior and protecting your Shopify store from suspicious traffic. The dashboard is clear, easy to use, and provides valuable insights into IP addresses, providers, bots, and visitor activity. The support team is also very responsive and helpful. I upgraded to MIDA’s paid plan to address fraudulent Shopify checkout orders. My public storefront is hosted on Replit and sends legitimate customers to Shopify checkout.

During support, MIDA confirmed in writing that its Block Fake Order feature blocks visitors who access checkout without first visiting the Shopify storefront, and cannot distinguish legitimate Replit customers using that flow from fraudulent visitors. I therefore left that feature disabled.

I only learned this limitation during post-upgrade support. MIDA acknowledged the incompatibility with my checkout flow but declined both my refund request and a refund exception. I have since saved a downgrade to Free.

Merchants using externally hosted storefronts should get written confirmation of checkout compatibility and refund terms before paying.

We installed MIDA specifically to block a barrage of dodgy account registrations, and it has done the job brilliantly. No more fake accounts cluttering our website. A special shout-out to the support team, who were incredibly helpful.

Easy to set up. You can allow all verified good bots and block suspicious crawlers or bots. It will be worth it if you try it

We have been using Mida for a month or so now and it seems to help block most of the abandoned carts we were getting from bots. They go straight to checkout unfortunately which has made it a bit more difficult to block - but Mida has help alleviate the pain from them.

it's great , helped me block some users and visitors from certain countries that are well know of having spam or fraudant visitors and activity

Really great app so far - I found sources of spam and scraping bots and managed to get rid of 100% of unfinished checkouts and weird traffic (mostly coming from China).
