Resize and re-compress product images, write alt text, and restore any original exactly.
Large camera photos make product images heavy. Mint Image Optimizer scales oversized photos down to the size you choose and re-compresses JPEG and WebP files in their own format. The new file replaces the old one inside the same product image, so position and variants stay. It only uploads a new file when it is meaningfully smaller. Before any change it keeps an exact copy of the original with its alt text and file name: restore one image or all of them. It can also write alt text and file names.
