OrderShield reviews every new order and assigns a risk score from 0 to 100, with the signals behind it: first-time customers, repeated orders from one identity, reused phone numbers and addresses, disposable email domains, and previously cancelled orders. The score and reasons appear on the Shopify order page, and orders are tagged by risk level. Merchants work a review queue, tune rule weights, and keep allowlists and blocklists. Automatic cancellation is off by default.
