Booster Page Speed Optimizer

So, I was viewing apps in the Shopify themes store, and Booster: Page Speed Optimizer was right in my face ( FREE), so I decided to download and see what happened, once I gained access, I clicked on the click here to verify your store link and a chat opened up and immediately I was chatting it up with Trish. Trish was the most helpful and friendly virtual tone, she verified my store, complemented my products, and offered much-needed and useful advice. It was a pleasure to have connected with Trish. Awesome job Trish!

So far so good, everyone was very helpful in tech support.
Not sure yet how much and if the app speeds up my site at all because the app itself does not have any settings to play with and to test speed. I can only rely on the automated response and the tech support person to tell me that my site now runs through their superfast CDN servers.
I must say that in my browsers my site is very fast, but still when I run it through Gtmetrix it is structurally fast but too slow due to Images and Other apps. CDN should take care of the image speed, and apps I can delete myself if I want to. One big issue for my site is the Home page Slider, which I will cut out and replace with just one optimized hero Image. Hopefully that will solve the big slowdown when tested. So to recap, they are very helpful and friendly, but it is difficult if not impossible to verify their hand in speeding up the site.

Speed is everything. And I had a site with Wordpress and it was very slow. I sold little and nothing. I switched to Shopify and I sell 30 times more than I sold before. But my e-commerce is quite complex, heavy in terms of bytes. I have a lot of products, a lot of articles, videos, blogs. I was looking for an App to speed up the site. For example I was looking for an App to reduce the size of the photos. Then instead I came across this App. This App does much but much more. The photos remain beautifully sharp (in 2020 we can't afford a site with grainy photos or with a miserable depth of color). I found this App that preloads all the pages of the site linked to the page the visitor is visiting. Result? I can navigate the site at the speed of light. The pages open as if they were built with AMP (Google's beloved code for news sites). Newspaper sites of newspapers, online news: if you click on them they open immediately). Here is the speed is the same. Even the pages that used to take so long (for example on my site: the "all products" page) now load in a split second. And this is already the first time the user visits the site. The subsequent visits are even better. Secondina Staffolini www.prodotti-dietahlife.it (site proudly made with Shopify) Milan, Italy

Worked for us, the Page Speed Booster app made the site faster for the user. Was simple and quick to setup.

Works quite well, Image alt text is what was needed for the site, the automation really helps a lot. Thanks

Great customer service. Booster app works. Shout out to Pete that helped me. Will continue to use this app in time.

This really made everything super super fast. This is amazing. Thank you. I tested this on my mobile and desktop and tablets this really works. thank you again,

There's no way to get a hold of the company and I need help. I'm getting website errors across every page and it looks like there’s uncompressed JavaScript files being served all from your app.

Can you enable compression?

Thanks

WOW! this works great on second page and afterwards. THANK YOU for making this available to us for free especially during these trying times for small businesses. I do hope you get good karma for this!

I started Shopify with my previous domain and have changed since. Booster apps could not detect my new domain and there is no way to change it or boost my current domain.
