Offer payment plans so customers can pay over time. Vaulted-card lay-by, no BNPL provider needed.

*Requires Shopify Plus* Payment Plans (by PreProduct) lets customers pay for in-stock products in installments, without third-party BNPL. You set the schedules; customers choose how many weeks or months to pay over. The first installment is charged at checkout, then cards vaulted with Shopify are charged automatically. Orders stay on hold until fully paid, like a lay-by. Renting or selling big-ticket equipment under contract? Release orders immediately and keep collecting installments.
