Photolock

I use PhotoLock to protect my original artwork, but I’m concerned about its performance impact. In mobile tests of the same collection page, the PageSpeed score dropped from 64 with PhotoLock disabled to 40 when enabled. A date-text overlay became the LCP element, despite visible watermarking being off.

My earlier support request remains unanswered. Could you investigate this overlay and advise how to retain image protection without this performance issue?”

Had not tested to see if the photolock still worked and found out it does not. How long have I been paying for a product that does not prevent vistors to my website from lifting my content? How do I apply for refunds? This was installed in 2019 and last major website revision a few years ago, I tested everything on my website. All was working well. Today I found out it does not work.

I am so glad I came across this app, because I was so concerned that people would steal my images. This app makes it difficult for them to do so.

Photolock offers more than I anticipated in terms of preventing image theft.

I’ve been using this app for less than a month now and can say that the support for this app has been great. I’ve had to contact them about two issues and received a reply within 24 hours with a resolution each time.

Here is my recommendation if you have a problem with the app. Contact their support first before rushing to leave a negative review. They are responsive.

Really nice App. The lock is working fine. BUT: on certain devices / browsers, you still can copy pics via drag and drop. Thats not so sweet.

Does as promised. Couldn't be easier to install. And a bonus is that it locks down your text too. No more to copy and swipe.

Fantastic app! What I really like about this is that you can lock the photos without disabling 'right click' entirely, which is a massive plus. As a company we can't express how stressful having our product photos stolen is, so thank you so much for creating this app.

This app is awesome for allowing me to keep my photos and text my own.
When editing my site (I often use copy and paste from my other products), I unlock everything. But when finished, by the click of a button, all of my images and text are secure.
