Refersion is overpriced, outdated, and completely inflexible. The software delivers almost nothing for what they charge, and once you’re in, they make it as difficult and expensive as possible to leave. Even long-term customers are treated like ATMs to be milked, not partners to be supported.
The platform underperforms, the contracts are predatory, and the company hides behind rigid policies instead of doing what’s fair or reasonable. There are countless better alternatives that don’t lock you into absurd fees for minimal value.
If you’re considering Refersion, don’t. Save yourself the headache.

I ran into an issue where my test order wasn’t tracking correctly in Refersion. John quickly identified the problem, explained why it happened, and even ran a test order himself to confirm everything was working properly. He also provided helpful resources and best practices to make sure we get the most out of the platform.

For the price, I expect a call for set up. The fact that this isn't offered unless you have the enterprise plan is insane. Not to mention 2.5% of sales? Not ideal for high ticket items

Our Help Center includes a robust offering of onboarding resources that are available across all plan levels, including video content, strategy guides, and a live Q&A session held every Friday.

I wouldn't recommend spending your money on this app. I've been using it for more than 8 months, and it hasn't generated enough sales to even cover its fees.

While we firmly believe our app provides the tools to implement and run your affiliate strategy, it can sometimes take more time than expected to build a program. We certainly want you to see a return on your investment with us and we have made several attempts to connect with your team to help you strategize potential ways to grow your network or generate more conversions from the affiliates you’ve onboarded. This is a rudimentary software that does an ok job and we've been running it for years. However it has lots of bugs that have been there for literally more than 5 years and they do not fix them or listen to feedback.
The app is poorly designed and has innumerable annoying nonsensical features, like notifications and popups that you cant get rid of after dismissing them literally 100 times. When you go to your dashboard log in it takes you to a log out page and asks you to create a new account. When you go to an affiliate it takes you to an error page using 1990s terminology "uh oh goose egg!".
Every time I go on here it is an exercise in irritation and frustration. Dont bother giving them suggestions they never listen.

Feedback from our customers is a priority for us and does play an integral role in helping to shape our product’s roadmap. We are reviewing your feedback and will work to incorporate improvements in upcoming development cycles. Though we haven’t been able to connect to discuss directly yet we will follow up again with your team when we have an update!
This app is expensive, not intuitive, it is time consuming to setup and also to approve all of the conversions. It does provide a W-9 form for the Affiliates, so you will need to manually monitor that and the forms of payment are limited. If you need help from anyone... good luck. They do not help you at all outside of sending you links to figure out the problem yourself.
I will say though that Janice from Customer Service was very kind and even though she could not help me as much as she wanted to, she was the most helpful person I have ever worked with at Refersion. Janice is most likely the best employee in that company.

Refersion is a really great affiliate platform for us. It allows us to seamlessly track commissions and pay out affiliates + see top partners. John on their team is great as well, really helpful whenever I have questions.

Refersion helps our brand grow + scale our affiliate community with ease. It's extremely user friendly for both us and our affiliates. Refersion also has extremely efficient team members to help troubleshoot and keep our brand on track! Eugene is the best!
