Refersion Affiliate Marketing

Onboarding was easy and smooth, Olivier helped me out. He was very communicative and replied to my questions in a timely manner. He also offered an additional meeting for getting familiar with the platform.

One thing I would change is I did have 3 different reps email me about setting up the account. It also took a few days to receive the collaborator request and was sent to a different email than given (goes to your store's email not the one you sign in with) so that was a little clunky.

Refersion is excellent, the customer service is especially good. If you are looking for an affiliate program we highly recommend it. The dashboard is easy to use and quick to setup. Be aware that it can be a bit confusing when paying affiliates if you choose to not use the masspay. So take a note of their name just in case before hand. Overall fantastic, and one of the best priced programs out there as well. A+++

I regret using this software. Refersion does a great job of marketing their tools, but after using it for almost a year, very little rate of return. Had to sign a one-year contract to use the software. Very expensive. Now after doing more research, found many other affiliate software apps that are much more affordable, and provide much better returns. Now still having to pay over $300 per month to finish out the contract. Company has no exit policy. Be very conscious before signing up with Refersion. Customer service is poor.

So far, so good! Shibo has been amazing at helping me get up and running. It's pretty self explanatory too.

I tried Leaddyno but it was a real headache.

So far I'm loving it!

I'm updating my review.

After using this program for a couple of years, I'm finding that the platform isn't intuitive anymore, there is only online support during "banking hours" and reports are not very robust.

While it's not horrible, it's not as easy to use as I would like, being a busy store owner. so I'm going to be looking for a new one.

Refersion is one of the most user-friendly suites for affiliate marketing I have ever seen. and I have seen a lot of them.

The only point of improvement would be if they made the payments themselves and all I had to do was link my credit card so they could charge it for the commissions. Or if they had a prepaid system I could top up, and they'd use that to pay the affiliates.

But the interface is beautiful
All the features are amazing
And Emma from Customer Support is a true hero.
Really chuffed so far about the experience and the service.

This app is really great for tracking affiliates! It makes things so simple and organized, and we love being able to connect it to our Shopify store. Paying affiliates through this platform is seamless and simple. Setting everything up initially can be a little challenging, but the tutorial videos help a lot. When we couldn't figure out a few things on our own, Emma from customer service stepped in! She was able to walk us through setting up discount links and made sure everything was running smoothly which was much appreciated. Overall, I would definitely recommend this app to users who are seeking an affiliate management system!

I recently had a technical issue regarding the priority between discount codes and referral links. I reached out to the customer support team and I have to say that I was impressed by how quickly and easily the problem was solved. Janice was particularly helpful in providing me with a clear explanation of how the system works and what I needed to do to get the best deal. Thanks to her, I was able to complete my purchase with confidence and ease. Overall, I am very satisfied with the level of customer service I received and I would highly recommend this company to others. Refersion was a no-sweat setup and does exactly what it says it will. Even the basic paid plan is very feature-rich, so you don't have to upgrade to a higher plan to get an affiliate program that really works, but as your business grows there are some worth while upgrades.
One feature that I love that I didn't know about until after I started using Refersion is the post-purchase affiliate sign-up. You can easily configure it so that it offers any customer their own tracking link so that they can get paid to refer you to their network!
You can also manually add affiliates and set specific affiliate-related or sku-related compensations. So it's pretty flexible.
Support has been great so far. I highly recommend this app.

We are very happy about some things the application offers: easy to use for the affiliates, have an easy overview as a company on how the affiliate's program is working, easy to pay and manage... Just encountered two negative points for the moment:
- when making manual payment, I'm oblige to fulfill at 100% the payment, and after charge manually the part that hasn't been paid (when making other type of payment methods, I can tell the program how much I want to pay).
- After reading a few things on SEO, I have doubts if the links generated with the refersion app is damaging my SEO or not (if it only keeps the same it's good by me, although I expected SEO would improve thanks to having so many new links generated... but I have doubts this is true).

After using Share-a-Sale for way too long, we switched to Refersion a year ago for affiliate tracking/marketing. While there's no one-size-fits-all solution to affiliate marketing, Refersion is an excellent option for Shopify store owners. We recently switched from one-time to recurring subscriptions and Refersion made the transition seamless. Special shoutouts to Emma and Erik from Refersion--extraordinary dedication to customer service. They really care about making your implementation work!

One area for improvement: please make it easier to handle automated payments to affiliates. Currently we do payments manually for each affiliate because PayPal (Refersion's payout option) makes this complicated/cumbersome. It would be great to have an alternative to PayPal.
