Schema Plus for SEO

A true 5-star app! Yaprak, Didi, and the Schema Plus team have given us world-class service since we installed the app.

Initial setup of the app was quick and so easy, that I thought we did it wrong! However Yaprak assured me during the onboarding call that everything was installed perfectly. She also let us know that we had outdated markup in our theme. I knew it was an issue already, but wasn't sure how to fix it. The team at Schema Plus got to work on removing it for us almost immediately at no additional cost!

They kept asking me to review them immediately once the app was installed. I told them I would first need to actually see how the app performs. It turns out it doesn't perform well at all. They slowed down my site considerably and put weird grey backgrounds all over my site. When I asked support about it they just told me developers were looking into it. I kept asking for feedback, but they could not provide any answers from their "developers" 3 days went by and nothing was fixed so here I am doing the review they begged me for. Thanks for making my site slow and ugly and wasting my time. Still waiting on their feedback.....

SchemaPlus has been extremely helpful in optimizing our search engine results. Before using their app I noticed that we had less content than some larger companies had in their google rich snippets when you did a Google search. Upon working with the team at SchemaPlus we got the same results as all of these larger companies. The team helped remove all errors in the initial installation, and ones that have come up over time. The only negative is that the team must have a lot of clients because nothing is done "quickly". There's always someone on the other end of the app chat, however, your cases typically take a week or two to be resolved.

My biggest pet peeve with Shopify is leaving Schema up to theme developers. The result is no one has the correct schema. Schema allows you to pre-set google's crawler with the exact info you want it to know about the page before it crawls the HTML. Done right, it is a definite advantage. This app provides all of the required info plus the important info that is optional that helps your pages. Yaprak was also very helpful and prompt which I appreciate. It is worth the money. Make sure you fill in all of the required fields. Make sure the product details on the product page like mpn and tags are filled out right to get the most significant benefit.

In my experience, this is the best schema app for Shopify stores. I would not trust any other. Yes, there's a monthly subscription but you get perfect schema with zero errors/warnings on google. I used Schema Plus for my prior Shopify store and I'm using them again. When you install the app, check your schema via the google test tool. If you discover left over, incomplete schema from prior apps/your Shopify theme, simply reach out to support and they'll take care of you. That's exactly what I did. The Schema Plus support team responded instantly and within 2 days eliminated all errors and warnings on google. My store's schema is now perfect. It's a worthwhile investment. I highly recommend the app and team behind it. Thank you.

I didn't realize when we made the move to Shopify that review apps don't take care of the schema code needed to give Google the info required to display our product review info in the search results. After researching my options, I installed Schema Plus. Within 48 hours, engineers had kindly tweaked my schema code, and stars started appearing again. While we can all dork around and try to do our custom schema coding, I think I'll turn this project over to folks dedicated to the topic. Schema is constantly changing. Thank goodness, I have one less thing to stay awake thinking about at night. I saw no visible effects on our theme. Installation was easy. Customer service was prompt, pleasant, and effective. A quick onboarding call answered the few questions that I had. Highly recommend.

Initially, the support team was super responsive - they are always very nice, friendly. Initially, they constantly kept asking for reviews. I explained to them that I needed more time to evaluate an app because initially, most app providers are super helpful and only the test of time demonstrates the true colors. That is exactly what has happened here - ongoing issue remains unresolved despite multiple reminders, requests, giving them access to everything from Shopify to Search Console to Analytics to Merchant Center. Now, my products are being rejected by GMC and Google Ads due to inaccurate pricing reported by the schema. Last week, I even contacted the to let them know that I would be leaving a negative review. They apologized, they thanked me for my patience - just like they have been for weeks. But, no resolution.

What can I say - its compleltey transformed my website - I had years of spending thousands of £££ on cowboys and people claiming they are experts and "SEO Specialists" for an app for a more than fair and reasonable price of only $15 a month to catapult me in the rankings in the end. The Customer Service is also exceptional - Things were sorted start to finish within 72 working hours on one email thread we just all stayed in touch and replied when we could, no pushing from either end, it was brilliant. Ozzy and Baris are legends and I am forever in their E-Commerce Debt. I owe them one. From all the staff here at T-Nutrition who's jobs you have helped save due to our website now actually being found on Google despite being one of the best at what we do, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts. 2021 will be a tough year recovering from a global pandemic, and your hard work over the last few days has just made our lives that little bit easier as we are now getting more visably seen by our target audience in the UK. I was using smart SEO. While Smart SEO is cheaper and offers a little more included in their app, there are a few things that made me switch and keep using Schema Plus.

1. The customer service. I was able to get my questions asked right away while installing the app. That is amazing. They also removed old code in my theme that was causing issues with products from old SEO apps/theme.

2. Using Judge.me reviews, Smart SEO began to give me errors with one of the last algorithm updates. Schema Plus incorporates Judge.me reviews and does not make me edit my theme file like Smart SEO did.

3. The bonus of a FAQ page with out having to manually code every single FAQ question manually.

4. Being Developed by former Google software engineers, who better than people who may have knowledge other apps do not have.

I have the breadcrumb features turned off because I want true navigation on page through menu navigation. I use Category Breadcrumbs for this. I believe, based off of the support and knowledge, they will expand this app and make it a universal SEO app better than the rest. www.acumetalfab.com
