I am very disappointed with my experience with this app.
I installed and purchased the app because the pricing looked attractive. However, after purchasing it, I was informed that if I wanted to use the AI features, I would have to pay additional charges.
In my opinion, this additional cost should have been clearly mentioned in the app description and before the purchase was completed. Customers should be able to understand the full cost of the service before making a payment, rather than finding out about extra charges afterwards.
I also tried contacting the support team to clarify the issue, but unfortunately, I have not received a proper response. The lack of customer support has made the experience even more disappointing.
The price may initially look attractive, but after the additional AI charges, I found the overall cost to be much more expensive compared with other similar apps. Unfortunately, the service and customer support have not met my expectations.
Based on my experience, I would not recommend this app. I suggest considering other alternatives before purchasing, especially if you are planning to use the AI features.
I hope the company will be more transparent about additional charges and improve its customer support in the future.
Hi Jenish, below is the same-day reply we provided you through chat and email. Also our shopify app listing literally describes the Premium AI Services right at the top of each plan. It's written right there, just look. I hope you find a cheaper app, but SEO King provides excellent premium AI services, so we can't provide them all for free - we would lose money obviously!

Is it free AI? Why am I charged?
The $16.99/month charge is the SEO King membership. It includes dynamic AI text generation using advanced models. It writes unique meta titles, meta descriptions, page titles and product or page descriptions for your store, guided by your focus keywords and your own custom instructions. That covers the AI that most SEO work needs.
Premium AI services (optional)
SEO King also has a few premium AI services that you do not need in order to use the app:
- Vision AI, which reads your photos to create captions and keywords, and is used to write AI image alt texts (AI Photos section)
- Translation (Translate section)
- Auto upscale for low-resolution photos (Low-res section)
- Remove background (Remove-bg section)
- Search ranking lookups (Search Rankings section)
These use an AI credit balance inside the app, not your card. Every shop starts with a free $2.00 balance, and SEO King never bills you automatically for more. You can see the balance and the price of each service in the AI Services section.

I have just got a information that due to technical issue, they ask for my yearly payment one more time even that I already have paid - then this company loose all my confident for me to add a new payment - I don't know if it fraud or not.... I am waiting for a feedback if I will uninstall the app and ask for refunding of my already paid "yearly" fee .... please be aware.... my subscription is for renew in 2027.
