MISLEADING PRICING GUIDANCE

The pricing page tells you to use your GA4 event count to estimate which plan you’ll need. We followed that guidance, signed up and paid a developer to set everything up - only to discover Stape was counting around 8× as many events as GA4.

Support then explained that an accurate estimate requires checks in developer mode, that counts vary by page and setup, and that bots can inflate the numbers.

Those limitations should be clearly explained upfront, before customers commit time and money. Our actual plan costs twice what we expected based on their own pricing guidance.

After going through the complete setup over 10x times, the performance Google Ads tracking has now completely stopped leaving me with no data! Additionally the Stape setup requires you to delete all other client based tracking pixel in order to work somehow properly. ( This Risk i was not aware of leaving me with no proper tracking system now, a total nightmare!)

->SGTM Tracking Performance is exremly fragile and the Stape system is not really user friendly unless you are a web developer.
The Tracking doesnt work anymore and has been declining causing damage to my ad campaigns and my revenue for weeks. Since using Stape i loose money due to unclean tracking data and too much instability in the tracking system.

If you contact the support they'll reject your request immediately and avoid a feedback in clear need. The need of the customer is not heard causing frustration. They redirect you to "Stape Care" which can (maybe help) but you'll have to pay USD900 to get it done..

If a support system which is needed in case of failure and issues, wants 900USD for checking your screenshots, then this System is not build to improve or optimze the customer needs!

For now, ive never been so frustrated using an app, and I canNOT recommend using it.

We set up SST with Stape and we are super happy with their App and overall service!

They have a great solution for Shopify with their template galleries.
You can manage the tracking implementation on your own even if you are not a dev.

much better than the shopify native app, purchase event EMQ jumped from 8 to 9.5

All work good, but now i can't track the purchase event, i also implement the additional code in the checkout settings.

This app is frustrating. We are trying to give access to our tech team to implement but dont see any option to grant them access. We also will like to upgrade to the paid version but cant seem to find that either

Finally, shopify markets support has been added, making this probably the best sGTM solution for shopify
