ShineOn: Print On Demand

Super friendly app! No negative experience except they changed their membership scale. Stuff that used to be free is no longer free. Other than that great customer service and quality products.

For anybody trying to get into the POD space I recommend this app. It is user friendly and very informative and helpful. No worries if you have questions just ask and you will be guided to information or informed of the answer. Four stars is only because I didn't know that even though you pay a subscription you still have to pay for each item ordered. That is something that should be addressed before signing up. Otherwise its a great app!

Shineon is my go-to company for my print-on-demand products. They have been efficient in the way they handle my orders. It is important to work with a company that works with your business in delivering excellent service and on-time deliveries.

I am new to the POD market, and I've learned a lot. I opened my first store on Etsy Feb 6th 2024. Starting with the typical low ticket items, t-shirts, mugs, and other gift type items. ShineOn has really opened my eyes to a whole nother level of Print on Demand! My biggest problem is trying to decide to open a seperate store or just rebrand what I've got. Hmmm..., but as far as ShineOn goes, I started working on sign up around Midnight, and had my first product published to my Shopify store front and Etsy for lead up to Mothers day. It's as easy as the videos say it is, and the platform is one of the most user friendly ones I've seen. Oh yeah, I needed to contact the support via live chat at 1:30 am and there was an attendant in seconds. Great Job on this.

So far, I have yet to be impressed with this service. I initially signed up for the "Starter" subscription with a free 7-day trial but canceled it due to persistent issues I encountered while uploading artwork for a plaque. The platform's interface could be more user-friendly, making the uploading process cumbersome and frustrating. Furthermore, customer support needs to be more helpful in addressing my concerns. Given these challenges, I find it difficult to justify paying for a consistently unreliable service that fails to meet my expectations. I will consider subscribing again once these fundamental issues are resolved. Until then, I cannot recommend this service to others or see myself investing money in it.

Using the ShineOn app has been a great experience. The videos are extremely helpful along with the resources available. Thank you, I appreciate all the support provided here as well as in the Facebook Group.

overall good app, but it is really difficult to know for sure waht product are made in Europ, if Europ is your market, brace your self to know what product are avalaible there :/

Every week, I look forward to the valuable tips shared within the FB group and during the Friday "Coffee With" sessions. Always receive great customer service and would definitely recommend to anyone doing POD. Hopefully in the future, the upsells will be available for all of the products and the Shopify product page will have more customization options.

Due to the alarming development, it is currently only enough for 1 star. I would like to give it more, but I don't see the reason for it at the moment and I don't see ShineOn being willing to change these things.

Product prices: The product prices were increased massively within a very short time without reason and without announcement! The costs of some products are already so high that it makes little sense to sell them.

Subscription: The newly introduced subscription is completely overpriced (835$/year) and reflects the current greed for profit. With the subscription you can buy back the "old product prices" for expensive money - it doesn't have much more to offer (in my opinion).

Too many upsells from ShineOn: ShineOn constantly wants to sell you something, even though you are actually the seller. Whether it's the subscription or new courses, there's always something. All for your own good, of course :)

No more sales unit bonus: There used to be better product prices (pricing tiers) for a certain number of units sold - these have been completely abolished without notice.

ShineOn Cash: Dubious internal cash system that nobody needs. If you take your customers to a ShineOn partner store and they shop there, you receive "digital" ShineOn Cash. Completely pointless and unnecessary.

ShineOn Support: Partly incompetent and only trained for theory. Nobody knows or comes from practice and knows how the real processes work. As a rule, you get standard phrases and nothing tangible.

There are also individual products that are popular and well received by customers - but I expect that too and would not emphasize it as something special. Without these products, ShineOn would probably not exist. So there are also good things, but unfortunately the development has been more negative.

Of course there are also a handful of people who are very successful with ShineOn, but the majority are more likely to fail or end up making no profit because they spend too much money not only on the store + marketing but also on everything to do with ShineOn.

Very user friendly, perfect for beginners and very reliable shipping & customer service. Love the youtube and facebook videos for support and guidance. I don't want to use any other print provider! Only complaint is the "break-up" with Etsy integration, but Etsy made that decision. Great products, great company.
