Excellent app and outstanding customer support
We run a plant nursery with a large Shopify catalog, and we needed a reliable way to prevent certain plants from being purchased when they can't legally be shipped to a particular state or location.
Ship Restrict has been a great fit for us. Our entire product catalog synced successfully, and setting up restrictions is very straightforward. We can restrict individual products by state, city, or ZIP code, and the ability to bulk upload ZIP codes is especially useful for us because some plant restrictions apply to specific areas rather than an entire state.
The app works with our Shopify theme and correctly blocks restricted products based on the customer's shipping address, rather than their IP address. We tested several different scenarios, including multiple restricted and unrestricted products in the same cart, and it worked exactly as we needed.

Thank you for this, and for the feedback you sent during your first couple of days. You flagged a few things, we shipped the fixes the same day, and it means a lot that you took the time to write this up afterward.
Nurseries are exactly the case we built the ZIP code tools for. Plant quarantines rarely line up neatly with state lines, so being able to bulk upload ZIP codes and restrict a single product by state, city, or ZIP is usually the difference between a workable setup and a spreadsheet nightmare.
Glad the shipping address check held up in your testing too. Blocking on the customer's actual destination address instead of their IP is the only way mixed carts stay accurate, so we appreciate you putting it through real scenarios before writing this.
