The app works really well generally, with lots of great easy-to-use functions. Customer service is excellent - James Power and his technical colleague Matt responded very quickly and professionally to identify and fix a small issue we had. Giving 4 stars because while I like the app and the service Shogun removed the store syncing function from new stores with the Measure plan ($99/month) meaning if we wanted to have this we would need to put our new store on the Advanced plan at $499/month!
Hi there, Mike! Thanks for taking the time and leave us a review highlighting your experience with Shogun and the support team.
We are glad to hear that Shogun works with respect to your requirements and that James and Matt from the support team were able to help resolve the issue for you.
We also appreciate the feedback about the sync feature. The feature has been a part of the Advanced plan for some time now, but your feedback definitely helps the team to make informed decisions moving forward. We'll be happy to share an update.
Please let us know if there is anything else we can help with. We appreciate the support. 😊

I contacted support and Lynsey was absolutely amazing, fixing the issue within 4 business days, and informing me of why it went wrong and what the process was to fix it. Thank you so much for your prompt and detailed help!

I purchased a Shogun plan to create sections to supplement my Shopify theme. I'm new to Shopify and Shogun. Their online support is superb. Someone named Rhys worked with me for half-an-hour, showing me how to create the masonry grid I was looking for. Great app, great service.

It is quite a flexible CMS that is easy for a designer to learn. There are some bugs with fonts from time to time & content management (especially for updating text) is a bit tedious. Overall, it's a great app for Shopify to create good-looking pages or components for our website.
Thanks for taking the time and leaving us a review, Anastasia.
We are happy to hear that Shogun has been a flexible option for your requirements and that you are finding the app great to use which has been helpful when it comes to creating and designing good-looking pages.
We apologize for the inconvenience of updating the text and the fonts. If you could share more details with our team, we'll be happy to resolve them for you.
Thank you so much for your continued support. 😊

Shogun is a phenomenal app. Slight learning curve at the beginning, but after a couple hours you will have it down. Support team is awesome as well, always there to help with issues that come up.
One of the best, if not the best, no code page builders out there. Can do pretty much anything with it and it is simple to use. Highly recommend, 10/10!
This really means a lot, Hayes! Thank you so much for writing these kind words. 💜
We are glad to hear that the no-code option is helpful. We designed Shogun to ensure you can create amazing designs for your page without having any coding knowledge, but if you would like to take the custom-coded approach as well, the app offers options that are powerful.

We've had a great experience using Shogun. We built a beautiful homepage and landing page quickly and had great support from the customer service team. They helped us with any issues we ran into promptly and even jumped on a few video calls to take us through some training. Sweetan has assisted us a few times and was incredibly patient and knowledgeable. Their online tutorials and community posts are also a great help, thanks, guys!

It's much better than the other page layout apps I've used for Shopify although it would be nice if you could design headers and footers with it and apply different ones to different pages. I had a major issue and customer support resolved it. I will be recommending this to some of my other clients as well.
Thanks for taking the time and writing us this wonderful review, Robbie.
We appreciate the honest feedback and are so glad to hear that you are finding Shogun better for your page-building requirements. Thanks.
We also appreciate the recommendation. 🤩
I have also shared your feedback/suggestion about the ability to design headers and footers that can be applied to different pages separately. Our team has been working on a lot of new features and making improvements to existing ones. We'll be happy to share an update as these get implemented and released.
Let us know if there's anything else can assist you with. We are always here to help you. 😊
