I really tried to like it but it was not working properly. Images would not show and little bugs here and there. Maybe I have the wrong theme for this to work.
Hi there! My name is Joe from the Shogun Customer Support team.
I can definitely understand your frustration about this and really want to thank you for bringing it to our attention. I attempted to reach out to you via phone but wasn’t able to get ahold of you. I’ve sent you an email as well and look forward to hearing back :)
It's quite possible that the theme you've chosen to use in Shopify uses Javascript to display parts of the page. Having said that, the Shogun editor does not load Javascript by default since it can sometimes cause issues in the editor. This is very likely what was causing the loading issue that you were seeing.
I’m confident that we can solve this from our end, but please keep in mind that we can only troubleshoot active accounts. I noticed that you've already uninstalled Shogun, but if you decide to give it another shot, we're more than happy to re-enable your trial once you reinstall the app (without having to choose a plan).
We hope to have you back on the team soon and my sincerest apologies for any inconvenience this has caused! Please feel free to reach out to me if you ever have any other questions or concerns, and have a great weekend. :-)

This app is a god send! It means we can change styling, layout and loads more without delving into code allowing us to focus on what we do... make great watches!

It's a great app that does what it promises. I like it that they keep adding new features. Very powerful and definitely a valuable tool to enhance any Shopify store. Recommended.
We spent days working on our design only to find out the "Add to Cart" items don't add to cart. They recommend custom coding. Pretty much defeats the whole purpose. Uninstalled!
Zac- apologies for the delay in response here. I actually recall this review, and remember that their was an issue with your theme. We'd be happy to help fix it. Free re-trial, and we'll refund any amount spent. Feel free to email support@getshogun.com and ask for Nick. Thanks. - Nick (Cofounder, Shogun)

Shogun overall is great. They make creating pages very simple and easy. I have had a problem or two with the responsiveness, but even when I did the team was very quick to address and fix the issue. Great app.
a great tool with a great tech support. Will be recommending to every one that's building sites on Shopify. I would love to see them grow exponentially so we may see better features in the future. Thanks again!
I am a developer who used shogun for a client's custom store. The biggest thing to remember is you have to use the header/footer and product box with the theme if you want to integrate with other shopify apps.
Thanks so much for the positive review!
Product apps such as product options or wholesale apps will generally require an existing layout for the product page within Shogun as those apps are designed for the product page on Shopify, rather than the custom layouts that we provide.

Really intuitive, scales on all screen sizes very well, and being able to save snippets and reuse them on multiple pages is awesome. I wish there was a way to make tables easily, but I'd still recommend Shogun to anyone!
