Shopify Messaging

Update: 7-16-24 I could not find a way to reach out for suggestions to improve the app so putting it here: Please add the ability to exclude specific customer segments from a campaign's audience. For instance, I may want to send a weekly message email to all subscribers in English speaking countries, but exclude France, Italy and Germany.

Review 11-16-25: I've been using this after switch from Klaviyo and like it so much better. All my "stuff" in one place. Create your colors/templates and go from there. Email program is robust and fairly intuitive. Make sure to have your DMARC aligned with Shopify to prevent issues. I still think Shopify could add more features such as showing what individual recipients opened, clicked on, etc. That is a feature I would like to see. Might be there and I'm missing it. Overall, happy right now.

Beautiful, Easy to use.. 10 STARS!

After Struggling and Cursing my way through an entire year with Klaviyo I was to the point I was NOT ever going to send another email again. I teach people how to make things pretty & I sell things to make things pretty.. So have an interface that had terrible templates that were so ugly ( Klaviyo) that took HOURS to customize and code. It is a breath of fresh air to use Shopify's emails.

It is SIMPLE.. if you are looking for all the bells and whistles this might not be for you. But after a year of having every metric under the Sun, not being able to use them.. and then finding 1/2 the sales that were being captured in the 'email metrix' were actual not really coming from email.. this is for me.

If you are someone looking for an EASY, streamline email option, this is it. If you are a Solo human like I am .. doing it all.. this probably is perfect for you.

If you HATE Klaviyo because you found it HARD to use & ugly .. this is ALSO for you!!!

Could you please update a feature that allows automated email workflows also to be sent on specific days instead of a defined time period (e.g. not wait for "X / hours" after signup or sending a mail but "until / next sunday" for example). That would be really great

Very easy to use. It allows you to be efficient with your time to get great newsletters out to customers so you can generate increased sales!

The email automation is good. Some of the items like social media input should stay in place and edited as needed. Templates available could be more creative going forward and more AI with details. But overall its a good feature easy to manipulate and the fact that you dont have to leave the app to create a email is a plus and of course its in the subscription no extra cost to cover.

Alles in Allem kann ich die App absolut empfehlen. Gute Vorlagen, wenn auch nicht ganz so flexibel wie man es eventuell wünschen würde aber für den Zweck absolut ausreichend und einfach im handling.

Easy to edit and very versatile. Wish there were more templates to work from for the special events and discounts throughout the year.

It does what it says on the tin, its easy to use and change the templates. I have set up several automatic workflows as well as sending out newsletters.
I'm not always sure it picks up all of the purchases created by the emails though but that could be the customers journey. Either way I'm getting more sales using this app and its easy to use

I have enjoyed the Shopify App it has giving ways to boost my online marketing. I am able to see where I get the most sales from, I like how it keeps track of your inventory.

So far it's helped me do the most of what i needed to inform clients or subscribers about news, updates, store changes etc
It has left me unsatisfied concerning the segregation i need to do on clients who haven't subscribed and need to be informed as a group urgently about something on their order, since their emails are not included in any list, but this is also a matter of GPDR and other terms and regulations. I hope they find a way to help us contact people in groups.
Overall it's super smooth!
