impossible de déplacer une date d'échéance, ce qui parait basique, qd par ex. un abonnement ne peut commencer que dès réception d'un produit physique lié. Le reste est plutôt ok mais ça s'améliore trop lentement.
Feature request — allow merchants to set which purchase option is
pre-selected (EU/French consumer law issue)
Hello,
I run a Shopify store in France and I use Shopify Subscriptions.
On the product page, the subscription option is pre-selected by default, and
the one-time purchase option requires an active click to be chosen. As far as
I can tell from the app block settings, there is no way for a merchant to
change this — the settings only expose widget style, colours, borders and the
policy URL.
This is a problem under EU law. Article 22 of Directive 2011/83/EU requires
the trader to obtain the consumer's *express consent* to any payment, and
states that consent cannot be inferred from default options the consumer must
reject. A recurring payment commitment that is selected by default, and which
the customer must actively deselect, falls squarely within that concern.
In France, the DGCCRF enforces this strictly, and pre-ticked options are a
recognised dark pattern.
The consequence is that French and EU merchants currently cannot use the
default behaviour of the app without taking on legal risk — and disabling the
subscription widget entirely is the only workaround.
My request is simple: add a merchant-level setting to choose which option is
pre-selected, with "one-time purchase" available as the default. Ideally, also
allow "no option pre-selected", which is the safest configuration under EU law.
This would be a small setting on your side and would remove a real compliance
obstacle for every merchant selling into the European Union.
Thank you,

If there could be a way to add additional information when looking at subscriptions from within the orders section, such as adding the product code/ sku. This would be very helpful, as it would make it much easier for the customer service team when speaking to the customer to tell me directly what the product code is for an item and the customer can just simply input this code and up pops the item on their page.
It would be great if we had a chance to create a Draft Subscription Order on the admin panel and send it to the customer for their review and payment.
it's been painful...trying on desktop rather than mobile to see if i can setup one subscription.
It's broken right now as this pop-up asked me to review, so not great!
This is my first time here, so I don't have a rating now.
Needs more options, we are unable to edit the recurring date of the future orders for our customers or even have an option to "run now" the order when customers ask. Please provide more optionality.
having a real problem trying to get the subscription to work with my app. Everything works on the app just fine. goes into the cart showing the subscription choice. But passing it to the checkout page on the site, which is where they are sent for secure checkout, it doesn't show up. Gets lost somewhere from the cart to checkout. I already found the numbers that are assigned to the options, but still comes up undefined. It shouldn't be an act of Congress to get it to jive. It works on the site just fine, just don't try and integrate it into your app. If I ever found out how to make it work I will share that with anybody else building their own app.
No es perfecta pero cumple la función de suscripción. Aunque le falta avanzar bastante.
