I can not get the meta data to show up in the sku stops me from using this
Thank you for your feedback, and we're sorry for the inconvenience.
We identified and fixed the issue that prevented metafield values from appearing correctly in generated SKUs. The fix is now live, and metafield-based SKU generation is working as expected.
Please give it another try! If you need any help configuring your metafields or SKU generation rules, our support team will be happy to assist you.
We appreciate your feedback — it helps us make Skywalk SKU Generator better for everyone.
It works great! It scanned my products for missing and duplicate SKUs and generated new SKUs according to my rules. I also enabled the auto-generation feature, and it's working perfectly.
Unfortunately, they weren't available via chat or email. the SKUs generator are numbered oddly and automatic SKU generator seems not to be working anymore (for Products and/or Bundels). There are also UI issues. It seems this app is no longer supported or updated.
Edit 18-06: it seems they working on fixing the issue, in the end we choose to build our own implementation but I hope the bug is fixed for other users.
Hi, thank you for the detailed feedback — we're sorry for the experience this caused.
We did receive your message and replied via our support inbox, though it seems it may not have reached you — we're sorry for that gap and are looking into why. To clarify: Skywalk is actively maintained, and in this case we identified and fixed the SKU numbering and auto-generation bug you described shortly after hearing about it.
If you're open to it, we'd genuinely welcome the chance to show you the app working properly — and to hear more about the UI issues so we can address those too. Please feel free to reach out anytime; we're here and we're listening.
Perfect, does exactly what I wanted it to. Created SKU's for all my previous products and creates new SKU's automatically for any new listings. I was doing this manually before on Excel.
Thank you

Excelente App. Gracias!
Skywalk has been a huge help for managing our Shopify SKUs. We recently ran into an issue where only 250 products were displaying in the manual SKU generator section, and their support team responded quickly and helped us resolve it without any hassle. Communication was fast, professional, and very clear throughout the process.
We also needed help configuring our auto-increment SKU setup, and they explained exactly how to fix it so new products continue sequentially instead of resetting. Everything is now working smoothly for our growing inventory.
It’s refreshing to work with a developer team that actually listens and provides real support when needed. Highly recommend this app for anyone looking for a reliable SKU management solution on Shopify.
Setting up custom SKU rules was incredibly intuitive, and the bulk generation feature saved me hours of manual work. I love that it automatically handles new products so I don't have to worry about SKU consistency anymore. 5 stars!
works perfectly
