I used this app to improve the speed of loading my webpage and I was amazed at how well it worked. Now my store loads lightning fast. The only improvement I would recommend is to be able to activate ALT tags for specific areas like the blog and exclude areas like the product.
I have been searching and testing image optimizers for 9 months and now I found this and am THOROUGHLY IMPRESSED!! This is a no-brainer when it comes to results! It shows the results in an easily understandable ui and it has sooo many features to improve your SEO and speed that I just have not found packed into one app!
I used this app to help increase load times and make my store more fluid, however the app rearranged all photos deleted the originals and the load times are not even better now. No clue why this is rated 4.9 stars. Edit: Customer support is very helpful. I will not be using the app however I must recommend the app just based on the support received.
We managed to get a single response from the merchant and checked the issues they mentioned in the review.
1. Checked variants we got from Shopify and checked the merchants store and all of the variants were re-assigned correctly.
2. We have all backups of the images and offered to restore all of them to the original state. When images are optimized It's only natural that they are replaced with optimized versions. We cannot have the same image as It would have no affect.
3. The loading time increased on pages where the images were optimized. 112 MB reduced from 133 images which is almost 1MB per image and It's an amazing result! It should reflect on the page speed insights in 24-48 hours.
We tried to help the merchant, offered to change all images back to original, offered additional help to further speed up their store as there is quite a few things to improve that would increase speed and sales alongside that.
It's quite sad to see that such cool looking stores with great products leave reviews without contacting us first when It's a 10 minute thing to restore all images and we would provide a lot more that would help the merchant out a lot.
Also to answer why It's a 4.9 star - It should be a 5* average. Our bad reviews are only from customers who are not willing to accept our help. Everyone else is really happy with our product and customer support we provide!
We help people not only increase their site speed and SEO, but provide tips on how to increase sales too!
Edit: Thank you so much for the updated feedback! I hope our tips will help you with increasing your speed a lot more!
The app itself is good, it helps to optimize images and it's pretty straightforward. However, the real star of the show is customer service. My store suddenly started loading slowly. I wrongly assumed this app was the cause. Julia was super friendly and kind, got in like a magician, figured out that the problem was another app that I installed and uninstalled a while back, and she even fixed it for me when she didn't have to. Julia, you're a rockstar, thank you very much!
I recently tried out this fantastic web app and was blown away by its features and capabilities! Not only does it offer an array of valuable options, but the customer support was also outstanding in answering my queries. The app has significantly improved my store's speed, and I was pleasantly surprised by the JSON, metadata, and image optimization enhancements it brought to my site. I wholeheartedly recommend this app to anyone looking to boost their online presence. Give it a try, and you won't be disappointed!
This app has saved me a ton of time, made my website run better and more effective, and ultimately helped to increase sales. That's on just the free plan, so if I could add more stars, I would!
The Alt-Text optimization is really quick and easy. I love the way it creates a report and lets you go through and fix. It took me seconds to fix around 30 products in the most recent batch.
I've used the JSON-LD as well, that was easy.
There's probably more that it does and I'll definitely be keeping this around and looking to expand what it does to help make my business better.
Thank you so much for a such amazing review!
This app makes it really easy to automatically optimise all the images on your store. Just switch it on and go! The redesign of the app is simple to navigate and the added SEO audit is a nice addition that makes it well worthwhile. The support I received was fast and informative. Highly recommend!
I've really enjoy this app! its easy to navigate!
