Auto optimization worked well! Manual optimization was hinky for me here & there, seemingly due to my internet but all good in the end. After both optimizations all done, site speed much better, whew, it needed it!! I conversed with Julia quite a bit & she was very responsive, helpful (as I think customer service should be, yet not what most businesses deliver.) Added bonus is all their extra information plus reference to another site I found extremely helpful for speed scoring my site, detailed information about my score & seeing my speed score go up each time I did something, including adding the manually optimized photos, which helped me understand exactly how far / time investment I needed to go with that! Julia even offered to take down the app pop up which was making me crazy, yep! Review worthy alone!! Thanks for everything!!

Update - one year later
We are still using the app and we could not be more satisfied with the functionalities. They have added a few new features and updates helping us with SEO and page speed. The team behind this app is very helpful, and are obviously very preoccupied by delivering best service - both in cusomer support and app functionalitties. If we could give 10 stars we would. Initial Review
I downloaded the app for both SEO and image compression and I am EXTREMELY happy with the result - it works a lot better than the previous app we used, it was VERY fast and also, after encountering a small problem after image compression, customer service was EXTREMLY FAST, very nice and helped us resolve the problem (which was our fault by the way, not the apps) in just a few minutes. I highly recommend this app, it's the BEST out there if you need to optimize your images for SEO and size!

I recently installed the TinyIMG: Speed & SEO app on my Shopify store and I couldn't be happier with the results! The app is incredibly easy to use and has made a noticeable difference in the speed and SEO of my site. In addition to optimizing my images, the app also helped me to compress them without any loss in quality.

But what really made my experience stand out was the exceptional customer service I received from Julia. She went above and beyond to answer all of my questions and even provided some helpful tips for improving my site's performance. Her friendly and knowledgeable approach really made me feel valued as a customer and I can't thank her enough.

Overall, I highly recommend the TinyIMG: Speed & SEO app to anyone looking to improve their site's speed and SEO. The app is user-friendly and effective, and the customer service is top-notch. Thank you, TinyIMG team, and special thanks to Julia for making my experience so great!

*Tiny img* is the most helpful and comprehensive app I have used on Shopify. I recommend it unreservedly to anyone building their own site as the app literally educates you very straightforwardly on all of the different ways you can optimise your site from the ground up. I also would recommend the app to anyone who already has a Shopify site, and wants to ensure that the site remains at optimal performance. The tools that the app provides (image alt optimisation, SEO metatag help, etc) are incredibly helpful and the ease of use of the app really takes the pressure off us non-developers.

They extremely helpful, and provide personal attention when you need help. Julie from their team spent time really making sure I understood certain things and offered additional tips for me to look into. You can start a chat anytime, message about any question, and get positive, comprehensive and HELPFUL feedback very quickly.

Truly, a fantastic app with fantastic customer support!

I recently started using TinyIMG SEO App for my website and I am thrilled with the results. The app is user-friendly and easy to navigate, making it a great option for those who are new to search engine optimization. I have noticed increase in traffic to my website since I began using the App.

But what really sets this App apart is the exceptional customer support provided by Julia. She has been incredibly helpful and responsive to all of my questions and concerns. Her extensive knowledge of SEO has helped me optimize my website even further. Another team member Eli is also amazing with support and strikingly organized. The SEO process is an ongoing one and I am glad that this wonderful team is by my side.

Overall, I highly recommend TinyIMG SEO App for anyone looking to improve their website's search engine ranking. With its user-friendly interface and outstanding customer support, this app is a game-changer for anyone who wants to take their website to the next level. It also offers great value for the subscription spending. Thanks to Julia and the SEO App team for providing such an exceptional product and service!

We normally wait to provide feedback on a new app, once we have completed everything the app states it can produce. However after only 12 hours this app is even more than I had expected.

My SEO's, ALT Tags, Page Image Optimization, Lazy Load etc have been a breeze with the push of a button, and have currently saved me 203 hours of tedious manpower. My store speed went from 5 sec to 1.95 secs within hours and we can now fly through our pages when searching our store and products.

In addition the Customer Service is WOW FACTOR!. Julia is amazing, efficient and super friendly. With a click on the chat button there she was with answers, solutions, suggestions and feedback at 1:15am EST. My theme had embedded code somewhere that was restricting some changes I wanted, and within a minute Julia was in the store, fixed the coding and I carried on as planned. Super fast fix, no wait time at all - AMAZING!

Have a few more details to go through and familiarize myself with, in addition to some more questions for the support team, but currently I ask myself "why is everyone not using this app - its brilliant" and does everything it says it will do with ease.
