SmartBot: Leading AI Chatbot

This app does have great features. However, please note that if you cancel your subscription immediately, you will not receive a refund. I contacted them repeatedly but received no response. After uninstalling the app, their manager sent me an email. When I replied to this email again requesting a refund, I received no response. Please choose this app with caution; you'll waste a lot of time and money. If the Bestchat administrators see this review, please refund our subscription fee, as we didn't even use the features!

SmartBot is an amazing add to our shopify store, lifting hours of work from customer service, product recommendations, and so on. A truly needed app for every Shopify store

So far, my experience with this app has been smooth. I still have to test it for a few more days to see if it performs as expected. However, sometimes there are some issues like, occasionally telling customers available products are unavailable or not found in the inventory, recommending products that are not necessarily our best sellers, or not answering to questions when prompted. Additionally, I feel that the order status answer is a bit limited because it could retrieve the estimated shipping times from the product pages but it doesn't. The value is also a bit higher than other available options, so one needs to see their options and decide :)

I recently try the SmartBot. The setup is seamlessly and easy. I gave it a few tries. It learns my products quickly and provides good recommendations or instructions. I will give it a few more tries; but anyway, it is a helpful AI bot for Shopify stores.

It is the perfect assistance than any other human, much better than live agents. It is clean, organized, effective and promptly response, works perfectly to bring good customer service assistance and answer variety of product inquiries, even good at giving recommendations about what kind of product fits better for the occasion, moment, day, etc.it also gives information about prices and top products that match better for the customer, creates answers that saves your day in seconds, save the customer time about getting the best product and answers, and we are happy to bring quality customer service.

really easy to set up and so far all the answers given have been spot on. I'd like to be able to see whether orders are directly related to the chatbot

We gave it a quick trial and unfortunately the bot is not very smart. It gave wrong answers regarding our Shipping Cost even though it's stated in the Shipping Policy, it also fails to detect if someone wants to speak to the support. You can't upload any documents or links to train the bot to make it smarter, so we decided to deinstall again.

After a few days of trying to get some answers from support I have changed my rating. Yes this app looks very nice but you don't have enough control over the AI bot and it can give out wrong info and yes you can add answers to a knowledge base but there is no way to stop it from making suggesting that you don't want. And trying to get support you would think they have it, but they don't I have emails that have never been responded to. And some many questions never answered. So I will have to delete this app just do to the lack of support and questions on how to's.

Seems OK, only it recommends sold-out products even after training it not to do so. Lots of customization possibilities, and no need for the visitor to start with giving their email address.
