I've tried other table comparison apps, and nothing compares to this app. Shopify frequently changes its API, which leads to broken apps unless developers fix it. This developer has always been fast to resolve issues and respond to support requests. I previously used another table comparison app that stopped working, and the developer refused to respond. When subscribing to an app, you're also subscribing to the support and updates. The app is also easy to use, easy to set up, customizable, with top-tier support. If you’re looking for a table comparison app, look no further than Bear Specs & Compare. I can’t recommend it enough.

This is an excellent app. Set up, editing and localization are simple. The Spec Table itself looks great and can be customised somewhat (although we have found it looks great by default), and the functionality is very flexible—there is nothing we have wanted to do that we couldn't do using metafields and variant options.

Spec & Compare was a perfect upgrade to our Product detail page. We use it since around 6 months and love it's deep integration with shopify metafields. Their support is very reactive and helpful and luckily not often needed because the app just works.

I found this app to be an absolute nightmare to set up. I installed it and uninstalled it three times because I really wanted it to work. Instead, there have been many hours of my life wasted on this. Support was slow and robotic.
I would guess this app is good if you have a small product range and want to tinker, tinker, tinker with your site. Otherwise, bleah.
I note that developers were quicker, and more thorough in their reply to this review than they ever were when I reached out for their assistance.
We're sorry to hear you did not like the app, although we feel your review is highly unfair. We did our best to help you; we gave you links to documentation, screenshots, and more. Unfortunately, whenever we tried to help you, you never answered, making it extremely hard to give you any help. You did not respond to our instructions, leaving us in the dark about where you were being stuck. We tried our best with you, but support is not a single-handed effort. You also have to answer and try to tell us exactly where you are stuck so we can help you further.
Also, answering us, "I am sure you are nice people, but right now, I fucking hate you," to the uninstall reason while we just tried to help you set up the app is highly disrespectful. All our other customers find the app easy to use.
We sincerely hope that you are treating your customers more politely. We'd prefer you not re-install our app in the future, as we don't want to deal with merchants like you.
Amazing app with a whole bunch of customisation options to get it exactly as you would like. So far the only downside I have is how the table formats on mobile however it does still complete its purpose better than competitors.
I had a bug on the display of the table and contacted the dev team, they were exceptional in fixing the issue within a week even going as far as buying another monitor just to try and replicate the issue we were facing. Ultimately this worked and they found the issue then implemented a fix straight away which has fixed our site. Can't fault it at all.

The best app for adding specifications to a website. Super easy to use and implement with lots of options, but more important: the support is outstanding. Had a problem which was fixed within 24 hours, even though they told me to get it fixed next week. I compared a lot of apps for specifications, but this one is by far the best.

I've migrated to this app from another compare app and I couldn't be happier. This is completely editable with a little know-how, can hook up Javascript events etc. Much faster loading. Support has also been fantastic as well.

The program is good but there need to be an bulk update. Its take a lot of time to do it mannualy. Maybe an option like Metafields Guru?
UPDATE October 2026: We're happy to let you know that we've added several bulk edit features to the app since your review. Specifically:
* You can now import/export specification tables structure, making it easier to manage them if you are using several stores.
* You can now bulk import compared products (so which products compare against which) using a CSV (this feature is described in our doc here: https://www.spec-and-compare.com/docs/products/choose-products-to-compare#import-compared-products).
For more complex use cases, such as importing attributes, you can use a dedicated metafield app such as Matrixfy or Metafields Guru.
