We’re using Symbiotic’s paid plan, and it has helped us improve conversions, reduce customer acquisition cost, and increase average order value.

What stands out is the way it makes discounts beneficial for both the customer and the store. Instead of simply giving everyone a coupon, we can offer shoppers a discount in exchange for actions such as following our social accounts, subscribing to our newsletter, or adding a companion product to their cart. Customers get a better price, while our store gains something valuable in return.

The companion-item offers are particularly useful for increasing average order value. They give customers a reason to explore more of our products and build a larger basket while still feeling that they’re getting a worthwhile deal. The signup and follow options also create opportunities to stay connected with shoppers beyond their first visit.

With more visitors converting into customers, we’ve seen our CAC come down. For a store spending money on customer acquisition, getting more value from the traffic we’re already bringing in makes a meaningful difference.

I also appreciate the minimum-price controls. Being able to set a floor gives us more confidence when offering discounts or allowing customers to negotiate, because we can keep those offers within limits that work for our margins.

Overall, Symbiotic has helped us make our discounts more purposeful. It gives customers an incentive to buy while supporting our conversion rate, average order value, and longer-term customer engagement. A thoughtful approach to discounting from the KraftPixel team.
